The Round Bush in Hertsmere

Absolutely fantastic Fathers Day Lunch today! Thank you so much to all the staff. The food was fabulous .. delicious roasts all round.. and the staff, so friendly and welcoming. We were a group of 9 and we all highly rated our food and the general friendly atmosphere. Well done. It was my first visit here and it certainly won’t be the last. :)

Our first time here and very impressed by the staff, food and drinks. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in even though we hadn’t booked on a Friday night. The very pleasant waitress brought us menus and drinks as soon we were seated. All the staff maintained a high level of attentiveness throughout the evening. An old friend joined us shortly after we arrived and again great service from the staff. We shared two starters, the pate and a generous amount of shrimp. The rib eye steaks were excellent and cooked exactly as requested. My wife said her meal was also very good. The deserts was great and the cappuccinos nice and hot. The Directors beer was excellent and complimented the meal. I’d have no hesitation in returning, we all enjoyed a very nice evening with great food and exceptionally good service. Very nice country pub with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Such lovely landlords Tom and Sue and their daughter Shannon who runs the pub. Excellent service which was attentive but left us to chat to our hearts' content. The menu is excellent ... wide variety. Delicious food. The ambiance is just wonderful! Clearly an old world pub with a lovely new and modern area. Highly recommended!

What an amazing evening I had on Wednesday. Eight of us had the most amazing food and oh what fun we entered their monthly quiz the atmosphere was fantastic so wonderful just to be able to laugh and have fun again. The service was wonderful the food all came out at the same time everybody loved it thank you thank you thank you the Roundbush Pub. I cannot wait to come back. Table now booked for 10. Also the gardens were beautiful and looking forward to bringing my grandchildren this week. The kids menu looks great and the play area is so lovely. Recommend the Roundbush ... I've been to this pub 2 or 3 times in the past (pre-pandemic) and again last Saturday. As per previous experience, the food was really lovely and the lady serving us was delightful. I remembered her from previous visits and she is always very friendly, welcoming and jovial. I'd recommend this pub and restaurant for a really nice night out with friends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Traditional Country pub, set in the heart of aldenham.Cosy atmosphere, with a smile on every member of staff. We attended the steak night at the round bush & I must say this was no disappointment. Beautiful cut of a T-Bone steak cooked to perfection.Shannon & the team were very welcoming at all times & the service was second to none.Highly recommend this traditional cosy country pub…..

Great local pub with good food and service. Nice garden to site in. Dogs are allows to utilise the bar area on the left as you go in the door.I have had a number of meals, under the old and new owners and all good.

Only booked due to our hotel cancelling food last minute, and so glad they did. The food was amazing just jealous we don't live closer. We visited new year eve and the staff were amazing, really friendly and the pub was so welcoming. Fantastic visit all round.

Impulse trip out for dinner took us to The Round Bush.We ordered the haddock and chips with peas.The portions were huge. I honestly was not expecting it. The food was sooo good. Fresh tasting, hot and so filling.Definitely worth a visit.Coming back with the family for Sunday roast to see how that tastes 😋

The Round Bush pub is just 20mins drive from London (Via M1) The area is quiet, once you exit from M1 towards the pub you might think you are in the country side but not, you can see greenery along the way. We went here on a nice Saturday evening, (I phone to booked ahead). They have a back garden with ample of tables and benches. Inside is a decent space. One way system and social distancing was observed, sanitizer everywhere The food was very nice, tasty and My son said the fish fingers was “yummy”. the steak was juicy, My Haddock fish and chips I can say it was delicious! We didn’t order any desserts as We are very full. The place was clean,they have toilet for wheelchair users. And dog friendly. I gave this a five star is because of the play ground. The staff are very nice and friendly too. If you want to getaway from city life and looking for a cool chillaxing place to have lunch, dinner or just a pint of beer, this is a perfect place.
