The service was great! Other than that it was simply ok. They have a limited menu if you wish to sit outside, which was disappointing but understandable I suppose. The food itself was pretty average and abysmally overpriced.I don't think I'll be going back.EDIT: The chips were some of the best I've had.

Really nice place to eat, especially in summer. A constantly changing menu keeps the menu fresh and different for the regulars. Only downside is, that once the ingredients are gone - the items on the menu no longer are available.

Had a fantastic meal here for lunch with the family.Duck croquettes, prawn and calamari Fritti and prawn cocktail starter were excellent. We all had either chicken or beef burgers and were really impressed with the quality and standards set by the chef. All were presented very beautifully too.The staff were also very helpful with my children and made sure we had a pleasant lunch service.

went for lunch today, table of three.a mixture of dishes between us but all of them were incredible, honestly some of the best food ive had in a long time.the staff were really friendly, accomodating and attentive. the young lady we had as our waitress was brilliant. on top of this, it was a really fair price.i don't live in the area but would definitely love to go again when i can.

First time I'd been here for a couple of years and booked for the lunchtime sunday roast. We first chose the foccia bread with cheese as a starter which was pleasant enough, but once you'd eaten the cheese grated on top (which there wasn't much of), it was very very dry. It could have done with a tomato dip to accompany it really. The halloumi starter with the spicy sauce was a much better choice 👍👎For mains we both had the roast beef which was £19 per head so I was expecting a bit of 'wow' but it wasn't really there. It was all nicely presented and hot, but it just lacked extra flavour whether in the gravy or the roast potatoes. Could have also been a bit more generous with the beef (I had 3 slices). Bit of a shame. 👍👎I had the lemon cheesecake for dessert which was beautifully presented and tasted lovely. My friend had the crumble, but the apple and fig combination was so sweet (and I have a very sweet tooth!) with the icing sugar coating, one spoonful was enough. 🤯🤯🤯Staff were attentive and helpful and they have good COVID procedures and signage in place.

We absolutely love this pub. The best service, the best food (simple & delicious) . The staff is great a super professional too. We celebrated a birthday party here and was a great experience. Very highly recommended!

Nice pub, looks good inside. Booked based on reviews for Sunday lunch but service was slow and food wasn’t overly warm. Tasty and well presented though.

Great meal - good wine and beer selection.I would pass on the “pate” it’s really just liverwurst.Otherwise the meat pie was delicious and my friend had Nutella donuts that I tried and enjoyed as well.A good place for great food, even if the location is a bit out of the way and in the suburbs.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! It’s randomly located in the middle of a housing estate, but I can honestly say I’ve never been to a restaurant where the starter, main and dessert have absolutely blown me away! The food is out of this world and and the ambiance is beautiful! I would drive the 7 hours from my home just to come here again!
