Wok 'u' Like in Hertsmere

Really bad service, do not take contactless payment, hardly speak English. Food not good, I put mine in the bin.

Food come less than 20 mins food is stale definitely not fresh prawn crackers are soft , chips rock hard egg fried rice is just plain rice no egg nothing would not be ordering again

Worst crispy chilli beef I’ve ever eaten 100% wasnt fresh, smoked chicken wasnt fresh , the saltiest seaweed ever, only good thing was the rice , and the person on the phone was sooooo rude, I’ll never order from here again, it’s awful, it’s a shame it’s a Tuesday and the good Chinese opposite ( China style ) isnt open , I’m awaiting a full refund from just eat , if you have the chance pick China style anyway over this place

I have noticed Wok U Like Potters Bar have put their prices up on most dishes. I like their food, but not happy that prices have increased. Also the service charge should be optional. Remember we are all in the same sinking boat! :(

I have just ordered as usual by them. Unfortunately it has become the worst customer service I have ever had. Fist, her English was not good. She did double check but at the end brought me Salad with Rice! I asked her where is Beef”. She said stubborn we double checked! She war rude. Put phone down on me! I will not use them anymore! They don’t care about Customer Service at all! God helps you all when you need service! It’s truly sad that People can do business like this in Potters Bar!

Not happy with my meal. This is the second time I have been highly disappointed. First time the food was soggy and tasteless. The chicken was hard.This time again soggy rice and soggy chicken balls.When complaining they do not refund or a accept that the food is in this way. 'Customer always right' does not exist in this place. Such a shame. I think they have a new chef which unfortunately does not know how to cook.

Surprised to see so many bad reviews. Been going here for years, have tried a few other Chinese take away's in the area but none match Wok U Like. Would keep going back, portions are large, always have left overs for the next day and prices although have gone up over the last year were always reasonable. EDIT UPDATE JAN 18 - Went back tonight and the prices have gone up again, my £6.80 meal under two years ago is now £9.00 that's a 32% increase. Would be inclined to visit more often if they kept the price lower!

Both myself and my wife have using this take away service for the past 3 years since we moved to potters bar. Usually we are very happy with the food and the quality of ingredients used, however over the past couple of months we have noticed the quality of food items deteriorate and OLD food being used. When I called to explain my feedback, the manager was not really taking on my feedback as a valued customer. I have therefore regretfully decided not to use this business any longer as I do not want to eat old and cheaply made food. Such a shame a food business cannot keep to its standards.

I don't normally write reviews but I feel the food provided was so awful I needed to review to warn other people. I ordered sweet & sour vegetables with boiled rice and chips. Delivery was fast and they even phoned to let me know they were outside which was nice.What can I say, the food was cold, the chips were stale and inedible and as for the sweet and sour vegetables it was more like watered down food colouring which was flavourless and again tasted old. I didn't eat any of it and had to throw it all away. Not worth the £12.50 I paid and would advise to order your Chinese elsewhere.
