Barley Mow in Huntingdonshire

Popped in here again this Wednesday, had a lovely meal in comfortable surroundings with excellent service. We will undoubtedly be back soon, lovely place.

We took my wife's uncle and partner to the Barley Mow to celebrate his 85th birthday, our food was excellent, served by a pleasant waiter. The whole place was immaculately clean especially the "facilities". I highly recommend the Barley Mow, it's a great credit to the management and staff

This has become our local since we moved to the area a year ago. The food is great and the staff are wonderful. We've felt so welcomed there since the first time we visited.

Went recently for a friends birthday. Had a fantastic evening , listening to a live 80s band and all our meals were fabulous. The liver and bacon, which I haven’t had since I was a child was absolutely amazing and planning to return soon for some more liver and bacon because it was just so good.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. I had previously eaten here under the old regime and was a little wary. The food was superb, service was attentive and timely. The beer selection was absolutely spot on (Hazy IPA thoroughly recommended). Really enjoyable experience

Under the new management of Mark and team this is a wonderful pub to spend an afternoon/evening in. Good Beer, friendly service, enjoyable food and lots of live sport which is shown on two big screens inside the venue. A very welcome change from previous management!

I went here with my family and it was horrible the service was terrible, we had to wait 30 minutes before they even ask for the drinks. We waited 2.15 minutes for food and it look horrible the burger was pink and we sent it back to be cooked again, 30 minutes later we have ourselves the smallest burgers with a handle full of chips. After that we waited 20 minutes before they can over to give us the bill, after looking at the receipt they had “ accidentally“ add two extra cokes one bottle of wine and a roast dinner no one ordered. The meal came out to £260!!!!! a horrible service with bad for and a £260 for that! We will never go back there again.

It was cold and we could only sit outside due to Covid restrictions. Nevertheless the staff is attentive and you can get blankets for a symbolic price which are yours. A small lunch menu but everything we had was very tasty and reasonably priced. Just what we needed in a lazy weekend. Recommended!

That is one of the best pubs in the area. We were a big group of people and they accommodated us very fast. Service was great and fast. Food was delicious. I had one of the best steaks and definitely the best in the area. Everyone on our table was happy with their food. They have many types of beer and ales. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.
