Sublime every time!Decent size portions cooked to order. Never heavy in grease and batter is as nice and crispy.mushy peas and the curry sauce is spot on.Highly recommend this one!

I've lived in a few seaside towns and cities and still have never had fish and chips better than here. Maybe it's a nostalgia thing... Or maybe it's just because this really is the best fish and chip shop

Lovely friendly staff and beautiful food. Only problem a large fish and large chips isn't big enough for 2 adults and they're very pricey for what you get.

Great service and great food, popped in while staying locally over night, Had cod and chips (x2) were cooked just right, very nice. Would come here again anytime. Thank you for a great meal.

My wife and I both ordered the fish & chips we highly recommend this place! It was very Tasty nice portions as well & friendly place, we definitely will be back.

Friendly staff, generous portions and reasonably priced but nearly everything is cooked to order so there is often at least a 20min wait for your food to be cooked creating queus at busy periods. Would recommend phoning ahead to pre-order and collect to reduce this.Probably the best chips in the area, but be prepared for the wait.

Confused. We have been comin here for years. Before it was taken over by the current family and we have carried on using it. Food has always been good the wait on the food has not but never minded as ways always worth it. The new ordering system does not seem to work. People are in and out everyone seems a little confused as to what they should be doing. With so many people opening the door also surely it would be easier to leave it open? I could be wrong? Granted it was Friday night but I called and placed my order was told when it would be ready. Arrived at the time and the food hadn't even been started yet which makes me wonder what's the point in calling?? All the staff have always been nothing but friendly but when you have staff serving or in view of customers surely there should be some sort of professionalism? The staff were shouting about how busy they are and getting stressed out. It is not something I really want to see as a customer. The worst part was the fish, curry sauce and mushy peas were all cold and the chips luke warm.

It was really busy (Saturday night) but was not kept waiting too long as the focused team cooked my food to order. The fish was nicely cooked, crispy and not greasy, and as tastey as you could expect away from the coast. The large chips was perfect for two. We will definitely return for more.
