Lovely lunch, the shellfish ( prawn cocktail) was super tasty and served in the prettiest of bowls. The monkfish and prawn curry spicy but not too hot and a really good consistency. My partner had the fish stew which he loved. Our friend had the fish pie, this was delicious, comfort food with elegance.

Shocking experience to say the least. On arrival restaurant was pretty empty and receptionists were friendly and guided me to the table. We were 5 people, 4 were visiting London for business. We had wine, but most of time we had to help ourselves, as staff wasn't checking on us often. Food was very good and we have enjoyed it very much. When we have asked for the bill, my colleague saw there was unfinished bottle behind our table in a cooler. It was nearly finished, when he started to pour I've noticed that it's not our bottle and I've stopped him, so he poured just a tiny bit. At the same moment, the waiter ran towards us and literally screamed at us saying: it's not your bottle, this bottle cost 200 pounds, you have to pay etc! And that in front of all guests who arrived in the meantime. We apologised and said we are happy to pay for a glass, and we didn't do it on purpose. Waiter kept moaning, which was unneceptable as I spoke later to the couple who's bottle it was and they were very uncomfortable as waiter announced the price of the bottle in front of everyone and didn't even check with them how to proceed and they understood we didn't do that on purpose. We offered them a compliment drink which they have denied. We were shocked how this situation was handled and we were disgusted how waiter and sommelier did behave. All guests left in complete distress. If staff can allow themselves to behave this way, we definitely won't be back any time soon.

Top notch experience. The food was incredible the best fish pie I've ever had, the service impeccable, the staff all were amazing so a massive thanks for making a great experience even better. I was there for a friend's birthday and they really treated us well. Everything was top quality. Not the cheapest HOWEVER worth every penny and will definitely be going back.

A hidden treasure. This is the place to come for a delightful array of oysters. I've always been biased towards the French varietals however I was astonished to find that the Louet Feisser oysters from Ireland we practically on par. The dozen went down very well indeed with some delicious Irish Soda Bread which were a treat in their own right. The outdoor seating with numerous heaters were also great to see and you can book ahead as it can get fairly busy, understandably of course. The service was impeccable and the staff were friendly and bubbly. Great find.

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Highly recommend the Louët-Feisser oysters, lobster bisque and the Cornish Fish Stew. Their special pudding was a take on a Christmas ice cream sandwich which was delicious. Can’t wait to go back 😍

So I took my parents for a special meal at Bentleys as I had an Amex offer for £20 off for £100 spend. The food was a but pricey but the steak and lamb cutlets were really delicious and fresh. The Pink Fir Potatoes complimented them perfectly. I’ll come back for the steak anytime. The major downside was the fish and chips for £25 and the batter was mushy from the inside. We had outdoor seating and the ambience was really good.
