Bosphorus Turkish Meze Mangal in Huntingdonshire

Food was average and unimpressive for the price paid. Salmon cooked lovely but the rest consisted of chips cooked from a supermarket freezer, overdone and unseasoned veg, bland moussaka and nothing-y rice and salad. Baklava good but the cheesecake was meh and tasted of sweeteners. Service was alright but a little blunt, plates whipped away as soon as you put your knife and fork down, mains took 40 minutes to arrive but other courses were speedy. It was busy so thats probably why. Dont think we would go again. Shame.

I went to this restaurant today with a friend to enjoy some Turkish cuisine and have a quality time. We sat down and as we were browsing the menu, a waitress kept coming every thirty seconds asking if we were ready to order. It seemed very strange and uncomfortable. When We were having our drinks and starterst waitress again came back asking if we were ready to order main course. The food was also tasteless and bland. Please avoid.

This was a late booking we didn’t know what to expect and boy were we glad we went….Both food and service was amazing. The team at Bosphoros work together like a well oiled machine very attentive but not constantly hovering. The food was fresh and lovely would def recommend to anyone and will be going back!

Very very nice and friendly service 10 out off 10 for everyone and everybody wonderful night out.

Unfortunately the worst Turkish food we have had. Starter was bearable, but main dishes just plain and without any taste, shredded carrots and cabbage as salad! Waitress was nice and observant.

Food is slightly better than a takeaway, but priced as a mid range restaurant. Quite expensive for the quality of food on offer. I witnessed the waiter arguing with another table, on multiple occasions. Being a small restaurant it effects all customers. The food, the atmosphere and location do not justify the price point. Would not recommend.

Lovely looking place was looking forward to trying. One of our party eats Vegan and questioned a starter with both Ve and D marked on the menu and was told the Ve was a mistake it wasn't actually Vegan. Then another dish on the main course said fresh cream again marked as Vegan.The food was fresh but by then my guest was concerned to eat much as dairy actually makes her very sick.Such a shame.

How things have changed. Extremely disappointed with our food. Bland chicken with no flavour in a very watery tomato sauce. Normally the restaurant has a lovely aroma and atmosphere but this was all missing. We won't bother returning as there are far superior Turkish restaurants locally.

I had the whitebait starter which I thought might be too big, it was certainly a lot for a starter. However the king prawn main was small enough to balance it out. The service was brilliant and attentive but not overly so. Would recommend to anyone.
