Fantastic Bar! This place is back to it's best. Clean and inviting and a welcome pitstop from a wander around town. The lager was crisp and cold, just what I needed on a warm day. A pleasant stop off to read the football write ups and while away an hour or so over a beer or two! Didn't try the food this time but will do next time.

The brooks is really a wonderful place, you can meet a variety of interesting people and the music is a good selection. The bouncers are nice and very professional, wouldn’t recommend anyone else.However saying that, it is extremely difficult to get served a drink when it’s busy. For some reason they had only one bar lady for 12+ people, are they understaffed? I waited almost 20min just to get served at the front bar.Overall, it’s a great bar/club to go to if you’re a local or visiting St Neots. Thanks!

A wonderfully run place. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. We had food and didn't have to wait very long. The food itself was very good. The prices are very reasonable for a town centre pub. Definitely recommend.

Food was awful, Sunday roast was all microwaved, had to send it back and couldn't eat it when it came back either. The mixed grill was not much better with the chicken absolutely solid, couldn't cut the thing. Never again

The lighting in here is so bright you feel like you are about to be forced to reveal your darkest secrets and crimes. "TELL US WHAT YOU KNOW!". The temperature on the evening we visited was almost suffocatingly hot and there were some slightly sad looking cakes for sale on the bar. These were uncovered and it was hard to tell how long they'd been out. However, the drinks were reasonably priced and the bar staff relatively friendly. If they turn the air con down (or off, preferably) and provided an area with dimmer lighting for more relaxed drinking, I might go back.

This pub has had many management teams over the years all with big ideas but never actually any improvement! UNTIL NOWStraight away big noticeable difference to the cleanliness of the bar and toilet areas! The DJ playing had the whole dance floor full with people actually dancing and not a single spillage as the security guy was directing all drinks to be left on tables off the floor, all the staff clearly enjoying their job as all smiling and friendly even when the bar was at its busiest.. well done it’s fantastic to see a great fresh vibe in the place!

Amazing burgers but the place is a bit of dump. Everywhere is absolutely filthy, the toilets are sickening and all the floor is sticky. Even the plates they bring the food out on are filthy from a previous dinner.Also they basically always refuse ordering of food and say food doesn’t start until... especially the evening when food can’t be ordered after half 7Went here for the last time and its absolutely freezing as it always is and the staff are unwilling to do anything about it. There’s 8 customers all eating with their coats and beanies on. Removed another star from my review because of this.

This restaurant is similar to a Wetherspoon with a much smaller menu, nothing fancy but acceptable food. The staff, 2 young ladies were lovely but the place seemed under-staffed and they had to mind both the bar and serve people in the eating section which resulted in a slow service.We waited a really long time (over 40 mins) for our main course which we actually pre-ordered via phone when we did the booking. When it finally came, they got the side order wrong even though i specifically checked when we arrived and more importantly, they brought one steak which should have been cooked 'medium', so overcooked that we could barely cut into it!Having said that, we sent it back and it was perfect the second time around but the side salad was too small, not fresh, and was barely edible in parts.I need to also mention that our voucher was for 2 x 10 Ounces steak and what was on our plates really looked barely like 7 ounces. I queried that right away and was told that it was correct but looked small once cooked...I cook steak at home all the time, the steaks were not 10 ounces.The food portions overall are really small, we came out of there feeling hungry.I will not be returning there but the food was OK once issued was fixed.

Nice staff, good food, cheap drinks. The food did take a minute but we did not mind the wait.
