George Hotel Restaurant and Bar in Huntingdonshire

Good location, comfortable room. Helpful staff. Disappointed with breakfast. Coffee was stewed and undrinkable. Plain yogurt not available. Limited choice of fresh fruit. No iced water at drinks section.

Stayed for 4 nights and found the george hotel to be one of the best pub/hotel I've stayed in. The room I had was larger than most and very clean but also had most of its original features. The bathroom was a decent size with a bath and shower,although I only just could fit in the shower because it had a low ceiling. The room was cleaned everyday and tea and coffee replenished. We had breakfast every morning which was delicious and always a good selection,from fruit to cereals to a hot breakfast with lots of choice. We also had a evening meal every night and cannot fault the chefs cooking. Everything was served piping hot and delicious with a decent sized menu to choose from. All the staff at the george are fabulous polite and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again. Well done George hotel 👏

Lovely building with features kept, maintained and updated on lower floors however landing and bedroom somewhat tired and dated. Double room (for 2) had 1 chair and 1 biscuit. We had no hot water for shower in morning. Expensive for room option !!!Good central location + parking an advantage. Only really saw 1 member of staff and she was very friendly, helpful and attentive.Might stay again if in Huntingdon.

Fantastic welcoming staff and food was well cooked and presented. The family were very pleased with environment and everything. Will go again 😊

Staff were great, friendly and polite. The breakfast was excellent. Only thing was the building has not been renovated for several years and could do with updating which would make the world of difference.

Great location for train station and town centre. Comfortable room, very good breakfast and canny staff. The place is in need of a lick of paint throughout. Windows in our room, #19, could do with replacing, especially the small one in bathroom.

Had a three course meal here on a Sunday with my Missus.The food was excellent, the surroundings are nice and I personally don't feel it was too badly priced.It caters for both young and old plus families, but because the prices are just a little bit higher you don't generally get the riff raff in.Plus if needs beYou can Always get a room😉

I had my wedding at the George Hotel last Friday and I was so impressed with everything that was to offer at the Hotel. Staff were fantastic and so friendly, food was delicious and all my guests were so happy with the food and kept saying to me how amazing it was. The hotel is so beautiful and the reception room was fabulous.They thought about details I did not even think of such as the putting a 50p in the champagne Cork for luck. Communication was amazing and they were very understanding when I had to keep changing my date due to the pandemic. Package deal for the wedding was great value for money and you get so much included.The only little down side I found was that they didn't include a congratulations card or small token in the bridal suite, that would of topped my day of nicely but I understand not every hotel does that and that's my personal preference.I will definitely be recommending the Hotel to others in the future and will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for such an amazing day.

The food and service was amazing!! Ordered Sunday roast with sliced beef and turkey as well as the signature fish and chips. The roast was delicious and tender (perfect brown gravy) and the fish was fried perfectly. The food couldn't be better!! Definitely going back to try more items on the menu.

Comparatively speaking, you will get your money' worth when eating here. I was surprised with how affordable the items on the menu. However, I was even more surprised by how satisfying the food we ordered, especially the fudge that came with our drinks. This is a cozy place with a friendly staff.
