Absolutely incredible food. My partner had the vegan steak and it was the best she had ever had! I had a pepperoni pizza and it was equally delicious. Highly recommend! It’s also dog friendly!

My wife and I had Sunday lunch today. The food was fantastic. My wife asked only for leg meat and was given to leg quarters. All served up with fresh vegetables and chicken and beef gravy

Really super delicious takeaway last night. Am still enjoying the thought of it today. Tasty and felt healthy. Such a friendly place. Lovely man even helped me carry it back to my car. Thank you.

Atmosphere was great, food even better. We had halloumi pizza and a smoked brisket burger. Food was really good, awesome job on the brisket! Added bonus, Wednesdays are Trivia/Quiz night, so that was great too!

We stop here as a half way point when meeting family at hitchinbrook park 2 to 3 times a year and the burgers and other smokehouse based foods have always been fab but as today we set ourselves up for a beef roast. Sadly it really did not hit the spot at all and we all left a little flat feeling dissapointed on the basis of our previous visits.The meat was great, flavourful and cooked spot on, but the accompaniments with the exception of the roast potato's were cold to touch, the red cabbage just not our taste at all and it was all let down with a really wishy washy gravy lacking any meaty substance at all.

What a great local restaurant we have! Here you can see We had a ribs meal and a pizza. I’m not lying when I say the ribs fell off the bone, you can tell the pizza was freshly made! - both beautifully presented! Amazing!

Great little pub.Came in on Sunday for lunch with both my Nan's. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.Takeaway options available during week and for Sunday lunch. Very good quality! Vegan and vegetarian options available also!Would highly recommend to anyone in the.local area who fancy some cheap and cheerful food!We will absolutely be back!

Popped in early on a Sunday for a roast and a pint. Warm reception from the owner. Some nice outdoor seating overlooking the green. In my opinion roasts are very hard to get right. We had beef and chicken and both were cooked really well. Loved the roast potatoes and the extra runner beans and bacon. Another great touch was the gravy for the beef and a chicken gravy for the chicken. Having moved back into the area it’s great to have this pub on our doorstep. Overall found it very welcoming and good value for money with generous portions.
