Fantastic food, beer, atmosphere, service. Couldn't ask for more

Had three course Sunday lunch, Garlic mushrooms and bread, really nice, with enough bread to soak up the juice, beef a litter over done but very tender, had the Pavlova, again tasty. It would be fair to say that the place is a little dated in terms of decor and menu but it's really worth a visit, great staff and a good selection of beers, enjoy 😊

Travelled from Heathrow to meet family and friends from Norfolk for my 50th birthday. Only place my daughter could find that would cater for 16 people, she tried all the big chains that you would think could cater, I'm so glad they couldn'tWhat can I say, absolutely lovely. Great staff and great food. We had a wonderful afternoon/evening. Would definitely recommend. They went above and beyond for us.Thank you so much ☺

Met up here for a family celebration, it was warm and welcoming, food was good, there were 18 of us including 2 young children and nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend and hopefully we will be back.

Lovely little pub. Booked in for a dinner on Valentine's day but sadly had to cancel due to illness. Very kind staff allowed us to collect our food for the evening.

Lovely Valentine dinner, very nicely decorated, friendly staff. Meal was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this place.

·

Good food at a reasonable price. Let us sit in the bar to eat as we had a dog with us. Very friendly staff and other customers. Would recommend. And we are going back for their valentines night special!

Had an impromptu Saturday lunch here with the family. The proprietors were super friendly and welcoming, providing a colouring book for our toddler and even a little gift pack to take home. We were in the restaurant area which has a lovely traditional pub feel to it that's becoming hard to find now, and is super cosy. We didn't go in the bar area. The food was good quality and reasonably priced and all enjoyed their meals.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub and we'll definitely be back!

This is one of the best pubs I have been to. The service is fantastic and the food was the best I have had in a long time. Could not fault the steak and ale pie and my partner loved the stir fry and the Belgian waffle

Lovely little pub with a fantastic menu.I have visited twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed the food on both visits.Good portion sizes, well presented and very tasty. The only complaint I have is that they charge £9.99 for a child's dinner which I think is rather pricey for an 18 month old.The pictures I have posted show the Garlic prawns starter (so good I forgot to take the picture first!), the soup of the day, the sausage and mash, chicken with wedges and then the child's roast dinner. All of which were very nice indeed. All of this plus 2x coke cost £50. Perhaps a little expensive but I would definitely return.
