Long Yuen Court in Huntingdonshire

After reading the great reviews and the other Chinese in Paxton being shut I ordered from here. 15 min walk to collect.. got it home and the chicken balls were pink inside and dripping with grease. Unfortunately had eaten a couple before seeing how uncooked they were. Called to complain, rude staff. Will not be ordering from here again.

Normally I regard the Long Yuen as really good...both in delivery time and food quality but sadly the takeaway I had on Sunday 12th didn't live up to my expectations.Delivery time was 20mins which led me to think that my food can't have been cooked fresh...this was borne out by the overcooked and therefore mushy Singapore noodles and the soft batter on my chicken balls. The duck was completely overcooked too and was quite tough.I won't turn my back on Long Yuen...I've had too many lovely meals from there so will give them another chance to return to their normal standards but as I don't have takeaways very often they are a real treat and I expect to be served quality food...especially for the price you pay these days.

Met my brother-law here for a meal on the 15th and was not disappointed , very nice staff , plenty of food on time and no rushing between courses , we will going back .

Brilliant restaurant, all freshly made and nicely presented. Some of the best normal Chinese food I’ve had! Decently priced too, not too bad, definitely coming back again!Location was a little odd, you basically have to park in the Co-op car park and walk over, and it’s inside this little farm courtyard thing. But it’s decorated nicely inside and the staff are really friendly!

Fantastic as always. Good food, decent price and lovely staff. Everytime we are in the area we go here and it never disappoints.

Sunday buffet. 11 people, we called a few days ahead to book our table.First class food, first class service!The waitresses were very attentive. They could not do enough for us. Warm water to clean our fingers! Clean plates for each course. Fast service, hot fresh food. Fast service on drinks. Offered coffee and desert, a bowl of sweets and mints with our bill. The toilets are spotlessly clean.I can not find one fault with our meal today. We wont leave it so long to return next time. Thank you Long Yuen Chinese

Restaurant is well disguised, looks like an old barn but wow what great chinese food, the best in St Neots!

We were here for 3 hours and waited an average of 30-45minutes between courses. The staff were very apologetic yet seemed to be around 16-18 years old and completely inexperienced. One of the dishes was not even hot, fairly cold actually, like it had been standing around for a while. It seemed like the staff were enjoying themselves on their mobile phones too rather than helping some of the other customers, who were also looking fairly disgruntled. I've no idea how this restaurant has so many high reviews. The location is awful, the food quality is average, the service is VERY poor and the price is high.
