Always wanted to eat here as heard how good it was. And it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space and tables. Didnt have to wait for a table and despite lack of staff was served very quickly and efficiently. Ordered from the lighter lunch menu and still got a good sized plate. Desserts were excellent. And the price very reasonable. Definitely go again.

Nice to see a change of management and that the original manager is back, there is a very noticeable improvement in standards already. As with a lot of hospitality venues they are short staffed, so you need to be a little patient. The steaks we had were cooked perfectly though, they weren't fatty and both the meal and plates were hot.

Decent place to come with our boys yesterday lunchtime. Clean and tidy everywhere, they especially loved the play area- nice touch. The food was good, and empty plates all round. Will return definitely.

We had a horrendous experience at the beginning of March when there was no official Manager in place and changes with the Staff but thought we'd give them another chance last night as we use this Pub regularly. Last night the service was impeccable. We explained about our previous experience and they couldn't have apologised more. There were lots more staff on duty, the food was so much better, we were able to sit in a quieter part of the Pub as our Son has special needs, we all had a very enjoyable experience

That was the best burger i ever had! Big thanks for chef Jay! Food was really good! Verry fresh, beef was amazing! Definitely will go back! All atmosphere was nice, we were served by Pippa, and one more girl. Girls were lovely! Thank you so much! ❤

Food was lovely. Price was really good. The only down side I would say is that you was running out of quiet a lot of food. For example you run out of roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and vanilla ice cream.

The Marsh Harrier is a perfect family-friendly restaurant. We loved the kids activity area and the simple children's menu. The food was unpretentious and had a nostalgic, school dinner charm. This isn't a criticism at all, if we wanted fine dining we'd go somewhere else and expect to pay 3/4/5 times as much!Staff were friendly and helpful, and looking through the events there seems like you have a lot going on, which is great.Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will come back.

The food was absolutely amazing as always. The staff are so friendly and don't pester you whilst your eating or drinking. There's lots to choose from on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. Alex has done a fabulous job of bringing it back to life again. We can't wait to come back for another meal again.

Typical and average English pub. Food and drinks pretty standard for this kind of place. Waiters kind and nice. No surprises or something special: is what you expect to be. Could improve on some aspect, especially about food recipes, but this could actually disappoint local customers, that likely prefers how it is now.

Very nice roast Sunday lunch. This occasion my beef was tough, but husband's slices of beef were tender and previous time my meat was tender, so think I was unlucky this time. It's a good value tasty meal in a friendly pub, and even drinks are reasonable. Recommended.
