Do not visit if breastfeeding!Dining in restaurant with elderly parents, asked at reception for somewhere to breastfeed and was advised that the toilets in the bar area were perfect with baby change facilities provided. Totally not appropriate, no chair (ended up sitting on toilet to feed) and baby change cubicle was too small with no lock on door which resulted in loss of dignity for my daughter and injury from door being pushed open onto me mid change. When I complained to reception I was advised that I could breastfeed either in the full bar or restaurant. Not good enough. Even McDonald’s provide better facilities and customer service.

Had afternoon tea. Wasn't impressed. The 4 small finger sandwiches were skewered together and presume they must have been chilled this way as they all tasted the same. Think the flavours blended into one. One of them was soggy. There was a small dry scone and again three tiny sweet bites. An eclair/meringue/brownie. For £21 is was disappointing. I was looking forward to my visit as I thought the Old Bridge had a good reputation. In fact the food wasn't great. It was hot, busy and loud and the service wasn't great. We had to beg for attention for more drinks. A real shame. In comparison better afternoon tea in St Ives at Golden Lion hotel and Carriages at Fenstanton. Even Patisserie Valerie was better. I wouldn't recommend.

The dinner was fantastic except I was unable to enjoy it hot due to the fact I was told to take my child out for making noise. So when I did get to enjoy my food it was ice cold and upsetting. I came for a nice dinner with my wife and children and were shortly informed after my appetites that I should “take my child to calm down” she is only a year and a half and was having a moment as most children do. I however followed the order and took my child to calm down during which my food became cold. This place while the food is delicious is not child friendly and I would recommend just going with your wife.

Lovely midweek lunch.Where shall I begin! The hotel is well located and clearly has a lot of history to it.The menu was good and the quality of the food high. I can't recommend it enough.Plenty of parking and not overly expensive.

Beautiful building, right by the river. Only went for a light lunch but couldn't fault the food. Everyone else's meals looked really nice. I noticed a wine tasting area which could persuade me to return again soon. Especially in the summer as the courtyards also looked inviting.

Called in for the first time. Everything (food) was excellent, esp the hot choc and skinny chips. Nice friendly staff too - esp the Scottish lady with the tartan face mask! Well done 👍 👍 👍

Omg such a lovely afternoon tea with fabulous friends. Food was delicious, never ending supply of tea or coffee, comfortable setting, excellent service, even provided a happy birthday plate with brownies for the birthday girl. A fantastic afternoon. 👏

Fantastic food and really good service from all. It had a warm and friendly atmosphere, yet with sophisticated surroundings and it was spotlessly clean without feeling clinical. Will definitely go back there.

This is a 4 star hotel by the river. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are tidy and the food very good. What really makes this hotel great is the staff. They are so helpful and pleasant. We were very well looked after the whole time we were there. Our room was fantastic if a little quirky. It had a lovely roll top bath and the biggest bathroom I have ever been in. We will definitely stay here again
