I visited Pizza Express and when I arrived, informed them I was lactose intolerant.Having allergies is scary but they took care of everything and made me feel so comfortable, it was great! They adapted the Chicken Caesar salad and I absolutely loved it!I’m knocking a star as they had flavoured tonic but no flavoured gin and for someone who cannot stand to drink tonic water, I really wish they had some tasty gin like strawberry, rhubarb or elderflower!Overall, great experience!

It's quite good place. I don't really like this very thin pizza and a tiny bit meat on it, but the dough was very good. For me not a favorite, but I spent a good time with my friend.

Good service. Good food. 4 of us had a wide selection of different things which all came in good time and we left full and very happy.

Had a leaving meal for a colleague. Food was lovely, service was great & the views out the big window were entertaining. Only downside is the echoey atmosphere, which made conversation in a bigger group difficult.

Wife and I went there with two friends. Looks dull from outside but the pizzas were all really nice and up to usual Pizza Express standard. Friend's wife had a gluten free pizza which was very good. Staff friendly and quick service.

Pizza looking more like pancake, not so bad taste but very oily. Cocktails are quite expensive and very small ( more ice than liquid). It was very cold inside the restaurant I noticed that waitress there warming themselves near radiator… good service but won’t come back again.

Very busy on a weekend as it's very popular, glad they keep changing the menu so there are new pizzas every few months. Had the Mango spritzers however it was a flat Mango water , there was no spritz at all. Pizzas were good but soggy dough in the middle section (asked for well done). Calzone was only half full a pizza folded in half is a better option. Front of house Staff as always were excellent.

Been to this Pizza Express many times and always have had good food, great service and a excellent overall experience. Its located opposite All Saints Church on the High Street, which gives a wonderful view from the window seats whilst dining. Can also people watch too if this is your thing. The decor is well presented and has a modern feel and look, though perhaps the window dining area could benefit from hanging cloth sound damping squares. At times when busy the noise and general hubbub is very noticeable.

Planning a long distance drive and decided to book in here for a welcoming break and lunch. Staff seemed more pre- occupied with their friends/ family who were also eating there, no smiles just very much, take your order and walk off. The food was ok but not half as good as our local Sudbury one. Personally I wouldn't recommend visiting here unless your family, it made us feel very unwelcome and had an atmosphere. Shame because I love pizza express. On the plus side pizza express do now do vegan cheese which is great.
