River Terrace Cafe in Huntingdonshire

We arrived just after 10am and were seated on the terrace straight away. This is a popular place and it can get quite busy.The ladies were friendly, chatty and talked us through the specials for brunch.The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The perfect poached eggs. Can't wait to come back to try the evening menu!

First time stopping into this wonderful little cafe on the edge of the river in the heart of St. Ives. The staff were welcoming, efficient, and perfectly attentive. The building and the cafe inside was stylish and chic. I ordered Moroccan mint tea to start, and then added the chicken sandwich and crispy herbed potatoes from the Brunch menu with the citrus mayo on the side. The chicken for the sandwich is marinaded in a beautiful sauce, then pan fried to perfection. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a very long time! Definitely adding this cafe to my list to return to on occassion.

Had a fantastic brunch several times in April ( 1st time was so delicious, we had to go back). Produce is fresh and dishes are really tasty. The menu changes which makes each visit more interesting and the specials choice has proven to be a good option . We usually deliberately choose different things on the menu in order to try different dishes. We haven't been disappointed with any of them.Service has been a bit slow on occasion but it didn't matter because the setting on the edge of the river is so tranquil, that it just made us relax and savour the time. I guess if your time was limited, it might be an issue but the staff are lovely and, like anywhere at the moment, are impacted by staffing issues due to covid. Lovely place and we will be returning soon

Very friendly and lovely food. The asparagus (as part of the veggie breakfast), was actually the best I've ever had!! And you can take your dog there too,which makes it a great stop off when walking your dog on the meadow.Update: had the Scrambled Tofu today and the topping really made it. Spicy, but with loads of flavour. 10/10.

Very quirky little place that I've been meaning to visit for quite some time.Staff are extremely friendly and even on the cold spring day that we visited, they kindly provided us with blankets so that we could still sit outside and enjoy the views.Cocktails and cakes were the menu for the afternoon and both were delicious as well as beautifully present.

First visit and very good service menu needs a little more sandwich bagel offers to choose from but very healthy options most welcome

Recently renovated? and reopened. Anyway, the terrace by the river is a real suntrap. Food was excellent with lemon and ginger tea made with fresh ingredients. I'll definitely be returning.

The food is delicious, I had Avocado on toast which came with beetroot & pomegranate it tasted amazing, and the service was great. Coffee was lovely. Everyone in our family had amazing meals. Highly recommend this place.

I had a crab fritatta and it was very good despite not much crab coming throughThe lemon and and ginger tea was not hot so it was disappointingThe service was good and its good that there's a socket for lifesaving charge upIt was very busy around 9 till 12 when I was there and it was incredibly noisy on the ground floor. Every table seems to be speaking so loudly for some reason. I'd probably go again only when it isn't busy. I only got to appreciate the nice background music just approaching noon when people left

We loved this place! It was brilliant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal. The portions were more than ample. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and down to earth. The toilet facilities were really good to! We would highly recommend it and will visit again when we are next in St. Ives.
