Really nice looking place, so we were keen to try the food. Went for breakfast (brunch menu) at 10:00am on Saturday before Mothers Day, so basically one of their first weekend clients. They had no smoked salmon, an item that may have proved popular that weekend? We both ended up with the full breakfast, one meat and one veggie. Average. Nice enough, but nothing that would have me rushing back. And breakfast doesn't come with toast, as you may expect, but didn't see it as an extra item either?!Staff, location, cleanliness etc all good, just a little disappointing with the choice.

A lovely old pub! Would very much recommend, the food was very well priced and decent portions.

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff - the whole package. Love coming in with the family or just my partner for dinner/lunch. Our absolute go to place for food

We had a lovely lunch here, the steak my father in law had was nicely pink being medium-rare. The burgers are a decent size and the children's plates are generous servings for a toddler but older children may need something from the normal menu. The puddings were good but the custard is a fairly small portion, they will give you more if you ask with no issues. There is a large car park but it's easy to miss the entrance as it's right on the corner of the road just past the building itself. We'd definitely go back and I'd like to try more of the menu.

We loved it here. Great room. Fabulous bathroom. Lovely team and very nice food. Will definitely stay again if in the area and would highly recommend to others

Having been pampered with Mediterranean cuisine for many years, (almost) any UK restaurant will always fall short. The menus are repetitive and lack originality, and the quality of the food is average at best. Nevertheless, this restaurant will do just fine if one is hungry and has limited expectations.

Absolutely amazing experience, we took the kids for dinner after school and the food was super fantastic, our compliments to the chef. There was a really good menu to choose from. The waitresses were amazing, helpful and very polite. My daughter left her school bag and the waitress was so kind and followed us to the park to return it to us. Thank you so much. 5 stars doesn't seem enough thanks.
