The Crown Inn in Huntingdonshire

Sunday lunch. Pleasant staff and comfortable atmosphere. Food was a disappointment:Roast beef - beef was good. Potatoes not crispy, veg was bland, gravy unadventurous and Yorkshire pudding old.Hake dish - fish wasn’t fresh. Potatoes dry. Peas were just broken with a fork.With a few small efforts from the kitchen The Crown Inn could be a delight.If The Crown Inn wants to charge above average prices, then please deliver above average tasting food.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, made even better as I am Coeliac and because I have to have gluten free I usually have to compromise and have a much reduced choice. Not the case here, there was hardly anything I couldn’t have including the puddings. Great atmosphere, yummy food, friendly efficient staff, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Certainly not cheap but well worth it

Having had the previous weekend at SIX in Cambridge for a roast dinner and coming away far from impressed an opportunity to meet up with friends for the first time since before lockdown sent us to The Crown. Great food, great service, lovely premises tastefully presented. I loved it, but, this review would be nothing but lip service if I don’t go back, again and again, and I WILL !!

We booked this gastropub for my Dad’s 80th on Saturday evening. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. They had decorated the table with streamers and the staff were really attentive and professional. All 10 of us were so impressed with the quality of the food and the attention to detail. We had a fabulous evening and would highly recommend this venue. A*****

We had a fantastic experience here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, along with the locals. When we arrived, unfortunately for us they were fully booked for lunch, however they managed to accommodate us, the food and service we received was outstanding, local, fresh food. I would highly recommend.

Got to say this is a great place, definitely one of the best pubs in Cambridgeshire. And they cater for everyone vegans, veggies gluten free & T-rex's.

Amazing place! Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! Had the roast pork and it was delicious! Would recommend this lovely country pub!

Nice place, no table cloths and because of the anti bac, being used tables were sticky... Very busy all tables in use, did ask for thin sliced beef, but got door steps, sadly. Dessert was nice, although not very hot, as you would expect for a brownie, was a little on the heavy side, however the three Raspberry dips on the plate were 10/10, well presented dessert, main dish not so, very piled in the middle of the plate, could have done with more gravy. Priced like a restaurant, rather than a country pub, but the location was good and decor very pleasing
