The Crown Inn Elton in Huntingdonshire

Very attentive staff, that is where it ends. Food was awful, 2 x flat iron steaks sent back as not cooked as requested and very tough. Not sure if these were replaced but equally tough. Two dishes x pork dishes, we both agreed very salty, no cheese in the cauliflower cheese and simply not enough food on the plate. 2 x burgers were acceptable but overpriced. Very nice dining room, suggest you stop trying to produce cordon bleu dishes and give a good old fashioned proper plate of food.No, we did not complain on the night except for the steaks and I think that at the end of the meal with half eaten plates would be enough for the kitchen to take note.

Wonderful food and really friendly service. The location is rural but easy to get to and the village is beautiful, too!

Great pub/restaurant in Elton , nice to have a drink after nice walk

Just called in for a couple of pints, whilst passing through Elton on the river Nene. Choice of real ales. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly.

Excellent accommodation, staff were very friendly, food was good. Wonderful village, with excellent walks. Will definitely return.

I have stayed here when visiting the area for a number of years, always happy to return and this weeks stay was up to the usual excellent Standard.

Everything you are looking for in an English pub. We decorated and comfortable,with plenty of friendly conversation going on. There was a nice warm fire and very friendly service. We spotted a full service coffee machine but did not try the coffee or any food. We will come back and give the restaurant a try. We have heard it is great from many friends.

What a lovely posh pub. Food was of excellent quality & very well presented. Waitress was efficient & professional. Will definitely return.

Loved it! Pub with accommodation in beautiful village.Good beer, well kept, excellent food (dinner and breakfast). Very comfortable room, well maintained elegant (and fresh?) decor, with good choice of tea and (proper!) coffee making kit. Private garden through French window probably more useful in the summer / better weather, but happy to spend time in the bar with the lovely friendly team - and Harry!

Me and my partner had an amazing wedding day in the Crown inn yesterday. The staff was amazing and made our day very special. The food was fantastic and the room we had for the night was lovely. I would recommend this place 👌 💯
