Love this place! A real local gem. Friendly staff, delicious food, dog friendly to well behaved dogs. Lovely setting. Vegetarian options and kids menu. Recommended. We will be going here more regularly from now on.

Attended this venue for my Aunts wedding. The food we were provided with, although was nice, was not even anywhere near enough for half the guests. For the price of this food a much better spread could have been put on. I work in hospitality myself and know that this was a poor effort for the budget they were given. On top of that, there were no bowls/cutlery provided for the desserts, no sauces for chips etc, no napkins, and no where near enough plates for half the guests. My own nana was eating out of her hands and I shared my plate with my 3 year old cousin because he was unable to get any food of his own.Although the venue and food were pleasant, it was a poor effort and we ended up ordering food ( a full meal as we we’re starving) when we got home.

We had a lovely dinner here, the food was really excellent - seasonal and fresh, and an extensive drinks menu which is always appreciated! Most importantly, the hospitality was top notch, thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

A big thanks to The Duncombe Arms for hosting our village Jubilee Hog Roast. The hog roast was excellent, we added chips for perfection. It was lovely to see the whole village celebrating in our local.

Really beautiful pub, performed a couple of events here and they always seem geared up for it. Definitely recommend.

Stopped for lunch here after walking through the beautiful bluebell woods. Lunch was amazing, compliments to the chef. We had mussels that were delicious and my husband had a meat pie, super good. Would really recommend this place.

Stopped here for a Friday lunch. Was busy but still plenty of room. Meals ranged from pub classics (burger, fish and chips) £14 to steaks at £24. There was a children's menu and small play area outside. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Nice pub to stop at.

Asked for my roast dinner without gravy but came out swimming in it, told our waitress she said she would sort it out. All they tried to do is scrape the gravy off and replate it, terrible when people have food allergies, veg was so hard couldn’t even cut it with a knife so we left although the still charged us for the drink and starter we had, absolutely shocking tbh

Excellent food, huge portion of fish, friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Delicious homemade pie, burger and steak enjoyed tonight, made even better with half off for "Eat out to help out." Gravy was a little disappointing, thin and mildly burnt. Pizza was very much enjoyed by my son, but I felt the sauce was lacking and tasted "mostly" of tomato puree. Service good and friendly, do prefer when all staff respond to thanks or comments with "You are welcome" more than "That's OK." Tiny comment, as service was polite, friendly and efficient.
