Good food. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Wel, worth a visit.

The best Sunday lunch! I have been searching for a pub Sunday lunch that serves more than a parsnip, carrot and a spoonful of cabbage and boy …. The exhibition served me 9 different begin my plate all perfectly cooked and tasting delicious .The lamb I had was gorgeous .The apple and pear crumble was beautiful too ,Would highly recommend ,just gutted I live 2 hrs away , to be honest I would drive that just their Sunday lunch !Great valve for money too.

Probably the best roast dinner in the area. Freshly cooked vegetables and crisp roast potatoes, melt in the mouth meat. Friendly staff. What more can you ask.

Went there for Christmas gathering with colleagues. Very high quality food, excellent service and good money value. We were 25 and food still served on time and classy. I would highly recommend.

Really good food and a cozy atmosphere. Their specials can be really worth it, and the chef obviously likes his meat. Really lovely waiting staff as well, especially given they put up with my father in law’s jokes after he’d had a few :D

Very good service. Had the roast - veg very well cooked. Lamb tender, bit fatty, but nice. They looked after us well, even with a 5 month old making a massive mess!

Decent - but overly pricey - food cooked quickly. The service knocks stars off though - they'll literally drop a plate in front of you and dash off before you even realise they've gone. The unwelcome stares from the locals on entry weren't great either.OK but definitely no repeat visit.

Visited the exhibition for an in prompt date night.Last time we visited food was amazing but this time was rather disappointed.Ordered fish which was then not available and so ordered chicken instead which was nice but my partner had burger which was cold and when bill came were overcharged for fish originally ordered!Refund was quickly resolved by manager and lots of apologies just shame wasn't to standard last time!

Very quiet meal tonight with great food. I had the blade of beef with was beautifully prepared and just flaked apart. My friend had mushroom risotto...very nice portion. And dessert included sticky toffee pudding and brownie. Service was friendly, however since there wasn't many customers in the restaurant, we were a bit disappointed as it was a long time before we were checked on and requestd a second glass of wine. The brownie was cold as if refrigerated and wasn't warmed prior to being served. This is a restaurant I enjoy going to and is one of my regular favourites.

We used to be regulars here on a Sunday and had left previously good reviews.Unfortunately this Sunday we had a 2 hour wait only to be served dry and burnt food.I am sure the food is still good but seems like the kitchen can't cope at busy times....
