Fantastic choice of food! Lovely roast dinner. Brilliant service. Great atmosphere. Definitely be going again.

Absolutely amazing! So grateful for this lovely place. The carvery is gorgeous, its rare to find somewhere that still puts care into their food, excellent quality! The atmosphere is lovely, with a real feel good light and airy vibe. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Very pleased overall, will definitely be regulars here! Thank you so much!! :)

Sorry, i didn't enjoy it at all, it was awful. I found hard plastic on the outside of my meat. I didn't find this til I had eaten some of the dinner. Potatoes were greasy. It was plentiful but tasteless. Yorkshire pudding cooked on the outside but very sloppy on the inside. My Family were embarrassed if I complained so I left without informing them. Sorry but I would not return + I would not recommend.

Lovely food and pleasant environment. Beer garden could do with a bit of a spruce up. Desserts all looked fantastic.

Ordered ham, eggs and chips.Best eggs I have had in a long time, home cooked had was good as well a reasonable portion. The chips were medium size well cooked ( would rather have large chunky one if I was given a choice)Overall a good place to visit.Would come back again if in the area.

Phoned at 12:30 for a table for 2, was seated at 12:50 upstairs, quiet and pleasant. Food good, tried all 3 meats on offer. Massive range of vegetables, very impressed. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely.

Quiet and rather drab, the combination meant there was no atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Still, the bar staff were fast and friendly and prices seemed fairly reasonable. Didn't try the food, so no comment on that.

A teribble effort. Don't ruin your Sunday.A drab an depressing environment served by lack luster staffband an incredibly rude chef, the only pleasant member of of the crew was the poor lad working on the carvery station being barked at by said chef.Massively over priced for meat and vegetables that have been left under heat lamps until every last drop of moisture had been drained out of them. I nearly broke a tooth on stuffing ball. Not even the gravy could bring this meal back to life.I should also pay homage to "Regina George" and the supporting cast of mean girls hiding in the prep station (presumably theses girls are meant to be waitresses?) insulting patrons at volume didn't even ask if my food was ok.Obviously the management have given up, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

The Staff Were Very Helpful And Understanding During This Pandemic. We Got Shown Around The Place And Told Where We Could And Not Go. Tables Had Screens Separating The Eating Area's, Very Relaxed Atmosphere. We Sat Outside Under A Tree To Have Our Meal And Drink. Ordering Was Very Easy And Really Satisfied At The End. Would I Go Back With My Wife And Family......................Yes Yes Yes. Give It Go See What You Think. And now doing the eat out to help out.

Wow !!! Amazing food and the best range of veg I have ever had anywhere. Tonight I had the carvery again and the fantastic food and service is very consistent each time I have been here. There is ample seating with 4 separate dining areas if you want somewhere more personal to sit. The price as today the 6th Jan 2020 is £10:95 which is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I at another time had their black and blue burger which had plenty of stilton cheese unlike most places hardly any and a beautiful flavour burger !! I highly recommend The Farmers as a warm friendly family place to eat and drink. Drinks they have a nice selection of hand pump ales and the usual beers lagers and ciders.Owner Arthur (right hand side) Danny Senior front of house (right hand side)
