The Great Wall in Huntingdonshire

Ordered food through just eat, on arrival we received the incorrect order. Deliver driver had returned to pick up the order having received a call from the shop. We explained that a member of the house hold has covid and we were unable to return the order as we had opened assuming it was correct. My partner proceeding to call them and check our actual order was going to be sent and we were told it would be with us. 45 mins after the call and incorrect order and still no food had arrived. Another phone call and we're rold there has been ANOTHER mixup with ordwrs and told us it would be with us in 20 mins. If not wed call for a refund.The Great Wall has always been our go to Chinese for many years however the service and food has been gradually on the decline and due to this I will be ordering from somewhere else moving forward.

Like any other takeaway in huntingdon, due to the 45 billion people living here horrendous waiting times, cooked my dinner while waiting ,will prob eat Chinese tomorrow now, another 1 added to the list to avoid at all costs, ill be ordering from Peterborough soon, I'm sure they would get here quicker

This is the second time we have ordered from the Great Wall via Deliveroo, the first time (05/21) was awful but thinking they were just having an off day, we tried them again. The whole meal was truly shocking, the yellow bean sauce & black bean sauce in both meals we clearly replaced with gravy, the shredded chilli beef with smothered in sweet sauce and the prawn crackers were clearly cooked in old oil as they were dark yellow. I never write bad reviews but this place produces vile food and uses kilos of MSG to pass their food as barely edible.Only good thing was the fast delivery which has nothing to do with the great Wall anyway.

Ordered £40 worth of food, waited three hours for it to even reach a delivery driver, and the delivery driver then took half an hour (we live ten minutes away) to call me and tell me “my phone is running out of battery, I’m in the middle of nowhere and not driving any further, if you want your food you’ll need to come and get it”Needless to say I told him where he can stick my food, called the restaurant to complain and they couldn’t have cared less or been less helpful. Later that night the driver text me to say he was sat eating my food.Avoid this place at all costs, until they replace that delivery driver at least.

After 2 hours of waiting we never received the food. After calling the restaurant they agree to cancel the order and refund. However instead they marked it as delivered and then refused to refund it. I challenged them and said that I was now £40+ down with no food or refund and their response was "basically". Absolutely atrocious customer service, very rude! Believe the other negative reviews and AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Food quality is good but customer service and delivery time extremely poor . I was waiting well over 3 hours for my order , nobody bothered to apologise either . Will definitely not use again as is just not worth . I would avoid it !!

Good Food for a Friday Takeaway night. Only downside was when ordering Duck with Bean Sprouts: The duck had fat on it, which I didn't like the look off and didn't really want on my food.

The best Chinese on town. Generous portions and always consistently cooked to a high standard. We treated some out of town relatives to a takeaway and they said " it was the best they have ever had!"

It’s shocking there’s no chicken in the salt and pepper chicken, the chow meins taste like sugar, the chips are in a paper bag and taste worse than you’d cook at home and the ribs are just about good enough for the dogs - if you rate this place are sure you don’t have long COVID?

As always food was delicious. Got our order little bit wrong. Had 2 prawn balls in with the chicken balls n asked for 2 veg mini spring rolls 1 meat. Got 2 meat no veg. But we all enjoyed thoroughly. Brilliant service
