Went to the Sunday carvery, the food was excellent, cooked well and a good range of vegetables to go with the choice of roasts. They were busy so advised to book, this also meant that there was a constant supply of fresh cooked food being brought out. I will be going again soon.

This quirky pub is open all day and a must visit for food and drink when visiting the village of Pidley.Had Ham Egg and Chips on Monday and the ham was extremely tasty.Had Beef Madras today (Wednesday) and again was very tasty.Had Chocolate Orange Cake and Custard for pudding on both days and can honestly say it is highly recommended

I would say that we’ve just had the tastiest roast dinner we’ve ever had out in our life - and we’ve certainly had a few!! Meat cooked to perfection, amazing roast potatoes and gravy to die for! Wish we lived a bit closer!!

This venue is off the chart. We booked a table for 12 for a Sunday cavery. The staff are extremely welcoming and catered for us to an exceptional standard. The food was by far the best we have had and the chef was absolutely wonderful with our younger family members. She even went the extra mile with our daughter that is a very fussy eater. This venue is a definite must visit. Massive thank you from the Maltby family. We will be back soon.

Really accommodating for our vegans and vegetarians, the hostess and chef went out of their to make sure they had lots of options. Tasty food and great chips. All very reasonably priced.

Stopped by for an evening meal out of the blue and even in the current times staff were friendly and welcoming. Andrea was friendly and patient and the food was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. Will be back if in this area again.. excellent.

Went tonight and took the dog. Very large garden so ideal for our dog. Staff extremely friendly. Had some food a limited menu but that's to be expected what we had was excellent and extremely good value. Will definitely be going back
