Popped in for a late light lunch on way home, lovely traditional old English pub, lots of quaint cosy rooms and comfy chairsStaff very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Food was very tasty and resonably priced, a very good choice of place to stop for a bite to eat. Would visit again on my next journey in the area.

We decided to have a late lunch here based on rave reviews and the online menu checked the day before. On arriving we were given a very different menu standard pub meals/ sandwiches . We were told the new owners had changed the menu but there were problems updating the website. Unfortunately nothing appealed so we left without eating and were too late to go elsewhere. The coffee was a let down but the beer was good. Just checked menus on their website today 6th July, this is still the old one and nothing like what is on offer!

Popped in on for a quick drink when driving through Kimbolton going elsewhere and enjoyed a lovely pint in the garden which was a perfect little sun trap on a Sunday afternoon, we were gutted we had to carry on our journey and couldn't stay all day! A very friendly lady served us at the bar too, very apologetic that they didn't have the cider I was asking for. Definitely would recommend!

A well balanced menu with a good range of fairly priced dishes.Staff very friendly and considerate of both people and dogs, who are more than welcome in the bar area, where the full menu is available and reservations taken. On street parking readily available (certainly in the evening) adjacent to the entrance.

What a lovely find. We've just had a Sunday roast and I can't recommend it enough. The food arrived in good time and was hot and of good quality, plus service with a friendly smile. We will be back again soon. 😁

Quirky spot, very cosy, excellent service and great choice of food. We had vegan pizzas, which were delicious. Our meal was topped off with a nice coffee served with soy milk

The beef stroganoff is usually amazing, but this time it was watery and a bit tough. Couldn't finish my portion. Also, the bread served with the camembert wasn't toasted (never had that happen before) and it didn't come (as advertised) with chutney. All of that said, I've had many nice meals here, hence the higher rating than the above words imply.

Was not my best experience today food wise but everybody is entitled to an off day. All previous visits have been fine and am sure that future ones will be too! Don't hesitate if you are in the area.

Excellent resturant and bar run by Steve & Elaine. Fine dining in the resturant or more relaxed in the conservatory with one menu and an equally impressive specials board. Tapas is also on offer serving both hot and cold dishes. Bar is always stocked with a guest ale as well as an excellent wine list. All in all an excellent venue for a great night out.
