Our group of 11 friends had a lovely evening at the Old Ferry Boat Inn.We went on the 17th March, which happened to be St Patrick's Day and the anniversary of the death of Juliet who's grave can be found in the bar area. What a lovely venue for a get together. The old ferry boat Inn is one of the oldest pubs in England. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good choice on the menu and selection for gluten free and vegetarian.Alas we had to leave at 11.00pm as some of us had to be up at 4am for work and missed Juliet's ghost which folklore says comes around the bar at midnight. Such a lovely pub, beautiful building, nice vibe and great staff. I was served by Ben who was charming and poured the perfect pint. What more can you ask for, man deserves a pay rise

Absolutely stunning old English pub in a beautiful quite location with very comfy bed and decent size room and bathroom.

·

Beautiful little pub and hotel, the room was lovely and clean, food was fantastic and definitely worth the money. We had the package that included 3 course meal, bed and breakfast. Staff were lovely, We would definitely return

Interesting place, nice, fresh and clean, dinner and breakfast we're really good especially the scrambled eggs...yummy. Only criticism is our room was over the kitchen and the kitchen extractor fans were continually droning from 7am until 9pm drove us mad not the relaxing, quiet break we had hoped for, without that would definitely have been 5*.

Nothing like your regular pub. Located in a brilliant setting right next to the river, serving mouth-watering food and drinks! Absolute Bliss. Highly recommended!

Nothing can be said other than beautiful pub- dull of character, amazing history, fantastic food, and a superb ale to be had!!

·

Has good food and vegan choices with friendly staff. Also has good Covid measurements with ordering on the app. However, there is no option if certain people do not have a smart phone or cannot use technology well.

Great welcome back to the pub experience! Wonderful and friendly staff and quick and easy service of drinks (though new app) the food however was only OK unfortunately, especially mains of mussels and steak sandwich that arrived luke warm at best but chips were hot? Mussels we're especially bad though as not just cold but very poor quality and probably frozen product I'm guessing. If the food had been of a better standard this place would be great but as it is just bang on average.
