The Royal Oak pub in Huntingdonshire

This pub is exactly what you would want from a village local.The staff are attentive and give a warm welcome every time you arrive.We have had some brilliant nights and we look forward to many more.Now that the kitchen is open again we can't wait to come in and eat as the food looks lovely.Thank you for what you do it's truly awesome

Try the Cajun chicken burger. Great burger and fattest chips I've ever had which have definitely been cooked at least twice. Outstanding! Lovley staff to.

As residents of the village - unlike some of the obviously bogus recent one star reviews! 🙄 - we are so grateful for everything Helen, Andy and their team have done to bring the pub back to the heart of the community. The new menu is fantastic - chilli nachos highly recommended 😃 - and the weekly pub quizzes, regular live music and other events are exactly what we need post COVID so thank you 🙏

Helen and Andy have worked wonders and have made the royal oak a proper village pub. Everyone is welcome and they have created a nice friendly relaxed atmosphere. The events they run are very popular and everyone has an amazing time.

Just what a village pub should be. Great food at reasonable prices, friendly and welcoming staff. The team there have made it a real hub for all sectors of the community. Exactly what the village needs. Well done 😊

Last Saturday I booked for 4 people for the first time, fantastic chef, lovely friendly staff, food was excellent all round, lovely starters.the main course I had was a homemade curry which was superb, sausage and mash was lovely ,great sausages, Very reasonable bill as well, highly recommended in this area.

I'll start with 0 stars for staff mannersOffering poor serving knowledge & attitudeCan't comment on their food but based on hearing other comments within we chose to give this a miss & moved along elsewhere whom will be rated in my next post.Too many other local pubs to warrant a return to The Royal Oak.Nothing Royal about it

Took my daughter down for the evening quiz. Staff and patrons were all friendly and welcoming. It was an extremely relaxed and fun atmosphere and we cannot wait for the next event. A truly welcoming and family pub.

Lovely little family pub and restaurant in the village for all ages to enjoy!Wonderful atmosphere with great drinks and delicious food with good company makes for a lovely day out :) Absolutely stuffed but definitely planning our next visit already!

Under new management since reopening post pandemic and doing amazing Turkish food. Has been great each time we have been there and a really good addition to the area. Highly recommend a visit.
