The Snooty Tavern in Huntingdonshire

Yeah, I liked it. We had nice cozy chairs and beer. We were not there to dine, but it's a nice place.

Ordered a Ploughman’s lunch and got one small piece of bread, some cheese, salami, pastrami and tomato… that’s not really a Ploughman’s lunch (was aching for Pork pie, ham, lots of great etc…)… was ‘ok’ but not what I expected. Not really a pub grub type of place if that’s what you’re looking for. Staff fab btw.

Attentive and friendly staff in a nice pub surroundings. Food was well cooked and presented, menu is a little bit limited, could do with a bit more variety but overall very happy and would definitely visit again

First time at The Snooty Tavern was a recent Saturday lunch service - mid Jan 2022. For me it was restaurant quality food but with a relaxing pub atmosphere. The menu is rather interesting with some more uncommon options (soft shell crab, tournedos Rossini etc) and also has some good pub classics. (steak, burgers etc). Portion sizes were good for a nice hearty meal. Desserts were excellent and creative. The servers were friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back.

The food was great....and initially so was the service but after main course..no one came..... eventually we got a dessert menu then nothing....waited waited....then eventually got someone's attention to pay the bill....can't understand what happened it was like we had disappeared ....and it wasn't busy ...such a shame as the food was lovely and initially a warm welcome and good service .

Wonderful staff, beautiful presentation, delicious food. I went there for a birthday celebration and they brought out a cute little happy birthday chocolate platter at the end. 10/10, would go again

Service above and beyond excellent, and food which is absolutely fabulous.The team at The Snooty Tavern saved the day when a group of us dropped in without any booking for coffee and dessert - super-friendly and went out of the way to make sure we were well looked after.We've booked to go back and can't wait. Nothing to fault here - a top recommendation!

Very nice food in comfortable chic surroundings, a very pleasant and airy space with a delicious menu - I love that the menu is adapted with vegetarian and vegan versions of almost every dish. My sea bass was cooked perfectly, and all the sides with it were delicious; my partner loved his unusual main of fennel heart, and we both loved our desserts. One to repeat!

Saturday lunch with friends after walk around Grafham Water. Our first visit to this pub, which we booked as it has outdoor space open for service. This pub is fantastic. Nice outdoor space, all covid guidance followed and felt very safe. Dogs welcome. Staff very friendly, and accommodating, service was definitely with lots of smiles! (Nice to see through face visors!) Lunch menu available but after seeing the choice on main menu, we ordered from that. Well, we ate some of the most delicious food we have ever eaten! We all agreed on this. Venison was amazing and the little bursts of puffed fennel were genius! One friend had the wagu burger, and said that it took burger and chips to a whole new level! The lamb rump was meltingly tender and disappeared quickly. We also had desserts, which were incredible, rhubarb souffle, pineapple with caramel plus so much more, and homemade ice-cream. Absolutely stunning food prepared by a chef whole clearly understands food and flavour combinations, and is expert in his craft. Well done. We will be back- I just wish we lived closer than an hour away, but it will be worth the journey.
