Lovely food, great atmosphere. Homemade chicken and bacon pie was really tasty, mash really creamy and gravy really good. Staff really attentive, friendly and welcoming, will definitely return when visiting the area.

have been here for drinks several times and the staff and the atmosphere has always been fantastic! both the bar and the restaurant are consistently busy, and with such a wide range of drinks and delicious food, you can understand why! had one of the best burgers i’ve had in a very long time (cheese & bacon), as well as the caesar salad which was amazing! definitely recommend coming and checking it out!

Really nice old fashioned pub. Went to chat over a beer which was great. Food menu looks comprehensive pub food but not eaten there yet so can't offer any advice.Plenty of room in rear car park and nice seating area outside

It was very busy this Sunday lunchtime, and a distict lack of staff as there were long waits for bar service and meals. Several walk in customers left before being served. A dedicated lunch weekend bar person could alleviate the pressures on both the hosts and young waitress and would be a sensible investment.

Sunday roast was delicious. Lovely place with great staff. The only downfall was the lack of gravy for us as we like alot so we were probably very annoying asking for more twice when they were so busy. Next time we know to ask for lots when ordering.

Had a lovely meal, very generous desert portions. Loaned us their own child's highchair as my grandson couldn't sit at the table due to its height

Had a very good Sunday roast here, place was a bit chaotic but that's too be expected having just opened a few days prior! Bar area is very cozy and as they have limited seating in the proper dining area, booking is advised. Menu offers all the pub classics plus they have a curry menu. So far so good, we'll be back soon, I'm sure!! Mel, one of the staff is very helpful!

Food was amazing, reasonably priced. Loved the outside on a Friday night, looks really good with the ropes and lights. Also, kids license is untill 9 which was really good. It allowed my daughter to join :)
