Not fresh chips were doggy not nice

Just ordered spring rolls it was awful inside is mush can't tell what your eating when it was mr wong you knew what was in them they were lot bigger very disappointed

Close to closing time, it's freshly made while you wait. And the wait wasn't long.

We have been back to Wong's over the last few weeks for our Cod & Chips and they have been brilliant every time.The service is both pleasant and very professional.The Cod is really fresh, splitting into flakes when cut, the chips are cut from real potatoes with no iron hard brown splinters.Really one of the best Fish & Chip Shops that we can recall.

Use to be great but not so now , fish pulpy not flaky not convinced the chips are fresh ( seem reheated ) and the pie was a shocker dry and burnt and cold definitely not fresh , time to try somewhere different, such a shame

Excellent fish and chips, good size portion, fresh and tasty

I regularly used this chippy when I lived in the area, this chippy has been around for quite some time now. They are often busy which speaks volumes as to the quality of food on offer, they have a reasonable menu with a couple of items you wouldn't often expect to see at a chippy (including ribs!) I also found their curry sauce to be exceptional! The shop itself was always clean and tidy and I found the staff to be polite, helpful and efficient! I asked for a large cod and a piece of haddock. When they were due to wrap I asked for the fish not go go in the cardboard trays they took one piece out and went to put it in the paper and it broke into 3 pieces i said i hope you don't expect me to take that piece home the young lads behind the counter all 3 of them and the 2 doing the cooking were having a conversation and before i knew what was happening my order was ready. I walked home and when i got home the piece of broken fish was in the paper. It was cold & dry and the frozen chips were disgusting. This is why i am writing this review because if 5 of them are all standing around laughing and joking while there was only myself and 1 other person in there and that is the sort of customer service they provide they deserve this rating. Hence to say i will not use them again and i will not recommend them ever.

Lovely service followed by tasty fish. Had battered haddock and cod, which was fresh. Chips were standard English fare. Portions were very decent, almost large to the point where we couldn't finish all the chips.
