Great spot for brunch. Lovely garden area and a lovely selection of food and drink. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff

Wonderful and whimsical little cafe with a beautiful garden area, top notch coffee and phenomenal food. The bagels they serve here are utterly exquisite, I wish I'd taken a picture to show it but I demolished it quick. I always come here either with my friends for chatting and catching up or by myself just for the pleasant atmosphere! Would absolutely recommend this cafe to people.

Best coffee and cake! I tried the raspberry polenta cake and couldn’t stop eating it till it was finished! It was so moist and light. It was a perfect addition to my flat white 😍 Thank you Nelly and Hannah ❤️

Amazing place for coffee and lunch! They are exceptionally accommodating and I was disorganised enough to place an order for 8 cinnamon rolls a day before I needed them. They not only were happy to accommodate my request, but we’re genuinely the nicest group of baristas I have encountered. As someone who has worked in not only a cafe but hospitality in general, they are a testament to exceptional service. Thank you, Applaud. You serve great food, wonderful coffee and have nurtured an excellent atmosphere for your staff to serve the public amazingly 💕

WOW WOW WOW!!! I am blown away by the food at Applaud. I had the broadbean pate with Parmesan on sourdough bread, this was hands down one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. The staff are lovely and so helpful. Overall a very cosy atmosphere.

This spot was our favourite whilst living locally. Even during lockdown when take away was available, the staff were still so upbeat, welcoming and helpful. Post-lockdown the team were just as friendly and appreciative of business. The coffee is the best in the area and the cakes & pastries are to die for (former pastry chef!)Lovely seating areas inside and out. Great value for money. Thank you team!@spiffingtravels

My first visit.All very nice... very friendly staff. I did notice (and I was bothered) that none of the staff had masks on...such a shame.But we had our masks on and was happy with that.Bacon sandwich with granary bread was delicious, coffee was a little weak, but looked better than it tasted. Would recommend, do try out the bacon sarnie...
