A little disappointed, food not as good as it used to be, but the thing that let it down the most was the server with the badly bleached hair, he managed to take the drinks order and later the food order without saying one word! Will not be returning to what a few years ago was my goto pub.

Lovely positioned pub/eatery overlooking the River Stour. Warm and friendly atmosphere in this traditional comfortable pub. Delicious fresh food, can highly recommend the Steak and Ale Pie with potatoes and veg, the Fish and Chips and the Fish Pie.

Food was good and the lady behind the bar was friendly, would have stayed for dessert and coffee but the pub was just to cold. Accepting it was a Monday in December maybe the heating could have been up a couple of degrees higher.

This is a nice pub a short walk from Shotley Marina. The food was lovely, portions generous, so much so I had no room for the fantastic sounding desserts. My only criticism was that the service was a little slow.

Just stopped whilst travelling around the area. Decent food at decent prices. Shown to table immediately and had excellent view across estuary to Harwich. Staff very attentive and would go back if nearer.

My friend and I went for a meal last Thursday lunchtime. Zoe was very welcoming and made sure we had what we wanted. Food was very good. Jack also looked after us well. Zoe is very good at her job and a bonus for the pub.

Absolutely brilliant home made burger with Serrano ham and Monterey Jack cheese, probably the best burger I have tasted. Cheese and biscuits served at room temperature amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our Sunday dinner in a relaxing pub/restaurant. The young waitresses were polite and helpful. Our food was nicely cooked and hot. Good menu if you like fish and seafood. Good place to eat after a walk along the coast with the sea air giving a good appetite.

Lovely menu and good portions. Located overlooking Felixstowe docks and a nice pub to visit after a walk and watching ships. Easy parking and friendly staff.

Fairly traditional pub next to an uninteresting piece of coastline. Having said that, the pub did have a range of leaflets that detailed some local walks. Perhaps i was seeing the place through the lens of a grey cold day.The lady behind the bar was welcoming and friendly. I ordered a soft drink and some food. The drink was fine. For the food I ordered a sausage and onion baggette. It took a little while to be delivered but I was happy to see it came with some very nice chips and salad. All the different parts of the food where very good apart from the baguette bread which had slightly dry cooked from frozen texture. Never mind the very good chips made up for that slight disappointment of the bread. The price was reasonable. I would not mind returning again if I was in the area.
