Delicious food. Very surprised. I would say for me personally, probably my favourite place in Ipswich. The dishes have their own twists and the beef was cooked beautifully.

Visited this restaurant today for the first time and can say Chatni has the most authentic Indian food in and around Ipswich and Colchester area.Chefs are from Garhwall, Uttarakhand and the food taste is very authentic. Your taste bud and soul will be guaranteed satisfied. Food we tried was Chicken 65, Chilly Chicken, alloo tikki, malai kofte, chiken karahi, chiken dum biryani and everything was awesome.Great work!

Me and my boyfriend try new restaurants often, we especially enjoy an Indian. We went here unexpectedly for an early dinner and we’ve agreed it is the best Indian food we have had. The portions are good, the food is hot and tasty, the service is nice and we’ve returned again since! Definitely recommend

We had food delivered from here for a work function on Thursday last week, best curry I've had in Ipswich, we had a lamb rogan josh, and chicken dopiaza, and a veggie dish, rice, naans and poppadoms. I didn't try the veggie option but the lamb and chicken...divine..... Great service, lush food, I'd definitely order from here again. The lamb was melt in the mouth soft, not like the bouncy offerings I've had from other places, the chicken generous chunks. Very impressed

We had a fabulous meal at Chutneyz in Ipswich, it is North Indian Cuisine and I can say it was the best Indian meals I have eaten in a long time.We had Paani Puri, Ghobi Manchurian, Tandoori Lamb chops, Onion Bhaji, Lamb Sagwalla, Rice, a butter Naan bread and a drink, all that for £41.The meal was superb. Best Lamb Sagwalla we have ever tasted. The deep fried cauliflower (Ghobi Manchurian) was very tasty, cooked well with cauliflower solid not mush and well presented. The Naan bread was gorgeous and fluffy, freshly cooked in the tandoor. My hubby loved it as much as I did.If you haven't been to Chutneyz you are missing a real treat. From the outside it looks very basic and inside it is canteen like but do not miss this little treasure of a restaurant. Lovely and clean, everything freshly cooked with a great taste on your palette after each mouthful.Lovely friendly, helpful staff too.

Absolutely delicious Indian food with a modern zesty twist... You absolutely must try ChutneyZ. My first visit last night and I left with a song in my belly and a massive smile on my face. ChutneyZ is so refreshing compared to your average British Indian restaurant. Every mouthful hits you up with a extra layer of flavour and pop of fresh zestyness... The chef obviously understands flavours very very well. You must try ChutneyZ. Try the chicken 65, it has 65 different spices and the flavour is just out of this world. Please try it and like my reviews, so that I can keep on sharing more exciting new places with you 🙏😜

After being recommended Chutneyz by several people I booked here for my partners birthday with friends. He found a very long black hair over his food, my rice was nearly cold, no salad with poppadoms, cucumber dip looked as though it had a bottle of green colouring in it & tasted awful. I ordered egg fried rice & there was chilli flakes in it, far too hot & never had egg fried rice with chilli in it anywhere. Certainly won't be rushing back.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at ChutneyZ, during our first visit to Ipswich. Customer service was amazing and the food was so flavourful! We enjoyed battered fish and lamb chops for starters. We forgot to take pictures of the mains as we enjoyed the starters so much 😀

Lamb byriani smells like it's gone off and tastes sour , 4 chunks of meat . Looks and tastes like they emptied leftovers from a buffet , greasy no vegetable curry to go with it . Just a load of greaay rice with no vegetables. Chicken kebab was lamb with a tiny stale sloppy lettuce. Worst curry I have ever ordered it went in the bin £19 for that is ridiculous

Ordered for the first time today. Got chilli chicken and lamb dum biriyani. Food is not authentic at all and did not taste good. Sadly binned the order after a few bites. Very disappointed after seeing all the good reviews. Lamb was very dry so unpleasant...
