We had an early breakfast on a Sunday.. it opens at 0900 and the staff are very friendly and helpful.Hot drinks arrived within a decent time and once the food was ordered it didn't take long either.I had a full English breakfast it wasn't bad, two people chose pancakes enjoyable and one with toast and jam.. toast with full English and jam was soda bread which was really nice. Hash browns are perfect I only got one egg but it was also perfect.. brown sauce came within a small dipping pot. The full experience was good overall.. on leaving staff said bye which was a nice touch.

In terms of food you get what you ask for here nothing more. For the venue and prices I was expecting more. Nice decor and excellent service. Food was pub quality which was good but I was expecting one level above. Still a nice experience.

Great selection of drinks, especially the cocktails. We had three out of four good mains. Partners fish couse a bit to well seasoned and table water had a dishwasher salty taste😔

Lovely food and drink and a nice environment. Staff were friendly and drinks were kept on top of too.

Came here yesterday for a nice sit down with a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was as brilliant as always, very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks came very quickly. Absolutely brilliant service like usual. Would definitely recommend and come again!

Food was tasty once it had arrived. Service slow on both drinks and then the food too. No staff in masks which most other restaurants currently do, doesn't bother me but would some so worth considering. Waitress constantly calling us 'Darling' and 'my darlings' felt really over the top but again some people like that sort of thing I guess. I wouldn't rush back but overall a pleasant enough time had here with family.

Came here today for lunch, Sonia was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pink lemonade was delicious and the service was perfect. I love the atmosphere in here and the customer service is always brilliant. Best place to go for a meal in town if you want a an intimate and relaxed meal with friends or family.

It is saddening having to write this negative review, given I've always enjoyed having dinner in here, but they've recently changed the menu (The golden dame and the Blue velvet are gone as well the Whole baked camembert), the size of the portions (£7 for 6 kings prawns, fotos attached) and worsen the quality of the food overall, I'd highly recommend avoiding coming for dinner to this place, unless you want to be swindled. When asked about the change, we were told "change is always good, right?", not in this case I am afraid, very sad this place has turned into.I've also included the previous menu, just in case you'd like to compare both and see the change with your own eyes (feel free to guess which one is which in case you've never been...)By the way, after "having dinner", we came back home and actually had dinner, again such a dissappointment...

Fantastic spot. Nice price on cocktails. Perfect for an intimate conversation with your special people. Excellent surroundings and professional staff. My only wish is that more people were there to share the experience. #decadance.
