had a fantastic stay, after having to cancel our first tip due to illness. Staff were very welcoming, polite and professional in all areas from Spa to reception, and restaurants.lovely clean areas and felt extremely safe with covid restrictions. We will defiantly be back!!!

Everyone we had contact with was friendly yet professional. Check in and out were very smooth. The spa treatments by Isabel were first class and the dinner was beautifully presented and delicious.

From arriving at reception to checking out we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were checked in and shown to our room by a welcoming happy receptionist ,the room was spotless and most appealing being kept like that by the house keepers during our stay. The food was certainly of a high standard and again served by cheerful, hard working and obliging staff. My wife being coeliac was very well catered for and had no bad reactions from the food which she fully enjoyed. Overall our expectations were fully met congratulations to the entire team.We commend the management on their decision to get back to normality after covid .Yours Faithfully F M Towndrow (Mike)

Very disappointed! Reception keen to move us on quickly and had no knowledge about restaurant and food availability?? When got to restaurant they were too busy with a Wake and could only offer an evening meal after 6pm. Not to their old standard when all prospective guests were made welcome!

We had bed and breakfast- staying in the 'Rosette' room for one night. We also had afternoon tea and everything was just perfect. The room was huge, the bed was so big you could get lost in it! The staff were also very friendly and attentive and we were made to feel like royalty! The room was spotless, and the free-standing bath was amazing! We will definitely be returning, and the eggs benedict was also delicious!

Had a lovely one night stay here catching up with ex work couple for dinner. We was in room called Gloria in the outside part. Beautiful oak beam room. Very spacious, clean and with everything to have a relaxing stay. The double bed was large and very comfortable and the rooms warm and cozy.

The stay was amazing, beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds. Staff were friendly and willing to help with everything. Only fault I found was at breakfast no one was around to offer a cup of tea or toast but as soon as I found someone nothing was too much to ask for. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

My Husband and I booked for 3 nights and at the time of booking I did ask for a ground floor room (as they didn't have lifts) with a walk-in shower. This was accommodated for us, and I do have to say the room was delightful. On our arrival we were extremely disappointed in the lack of facilities for disabled people. Firstly, we were unable to find the reception, which we did find eventually but it had about 6 steps up to it.As I am a wheelchair user and unable to walk very well it was impossible for me to use the reception entrance. Also, another door that we found outside was a 15-minute walk from our room and on gravel (2 mins for anyone else) as my wheelchair could not cope with the gravel or indeed my husband trying to push me on it.Our room was close to the reception but as stated I couldn't use it. We asked for another inside, which they gave to us. Nice room but had 4 steps to get into the bathroom which did not have any handrails etc. impossible for me. From this room to either the reception/bar/restaurant/ or other facilities we encountered yet more steps. There were broken tiles on the floor (very dangerous) and bars between doors which were raised. All in all, it was very upsetting, and we decided not to stay for the other 2 nights, the very curt receptionist said we would have to pay for 2 nights, but then decided not to charge us for the 2 nights not used.Could be a very nice hotel when upgraded and re-decorated.I must add that although short on staff they were excellent (bar one) and obviously doing more than they are employed to do.They need to think about people with disabilities more.

We stayed four nights at Hintlesham Hall, and I must say that it exceeded expectations. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable and the bathroom clean and well-equipped. We ate in the hotel each evening, three times in the restaurant and once in the lounge. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. In fact, the hotel's strongest feature is its staff, who were all friendly, helpful and cheerful. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to friends, and look forward to our next stay,
