India Gate in Ipswich

Ordered from these guys a fair bit over the years and really rated them, but they have massively gone downhill past 3 or 4 deliveries. Tonight was delivered food which was awful. Absolutely inedible. I rang and asked for a refund, they refused. Food is in the bin and I'll not order again!

There was a hair baked actually into my Nan bread. Pulling a hair out from the back of my throat being pregnant made me gag and ultimately sick. I rang and advised this to which I was laughed at. I’m not sure what’s funny about. A pregnant woman being sick through your cooking ? My husband then spoke to the manger who seemed to want to debate with him how the black medium length hair got there considering I have very long blonde hair and my husbands is very short. We was then offered a new Nan on our next order and that was it. No apology, nothing. Absolutly disgusting treatment

Placed a order at 620 nothing had arrived by 8 pm so called the guy on the other end of phone lied saying I will have to take my cancelling of the order with the driver who is the manager !!! The guy turned up at 840 shall we say he wasn't the manager I told him to take the food back I then called again spoke to the same guy who gave me another story as of today still no refund or call to explain totally shambolic disgusting customer service

India Gate has seriously upped their game, the food is truly superb, we live very close by and have eaten from here a fair few times but the food has always been "ok", tried again recently and must say the food is by far the best Indian take away I've had for a very long time. Thank you guys and keep up the amazing work.

India Gate has been our go to takeaway for ages now, even after we moved away from the immediate area. The service is good and the food is excellent, with plenty of choice on the menu for just about anyone.

The food is very good. But two times in a row now my order on just eat has been cancelled. Seriously, don't confirm my order if your can't deliver on it! What's the point!?

Well after a very long time of India gate being our favourite place to have our Indian takeaway for delivery. Its time to throw in the towel. The food always good. But the service and quatity and the huge disappointed of always something missing and delivery time sometimes reaching 2 hours. Tonight was no exception.a folded poppadum broke into pieces in a bag. Food portion getting smaller all the time. We ordered on-line tonight thinking maybe it would be better service, sorry guys but you need to get your act together you are letting yourselves down.

Very nice food ,not licenced, but can take your own,or buy from next door ,quite small,mainly cater for take away,10min walk from holiday Inn.
