Issacs in Ipswich

In all the years I've lived in the area I've never been in until now. Lovely venue plenty of places to sit inside and out I only stopped for a coffee with a friend but that was tasty quick service, I ordered through a QR code from my table which I really liked. Definitely will be returning as the food smelt great.

It was as cold inside as out and on a very chilly day, everyone was wearing coats and hats if they had them ... when asked to shut the big double doors the manager stated "they have to be open for ventilation" when I suggested to open smaller windows so as not to be as cold, it was met with a laugh! They don't take cash and bar all behind perspex, no surprises I won't be returning

Love Isaacs, food tasty, good price, great range of drinks. Food service fast. Lovely place for a drink over looking the marina

Extremely disappointed with my Birthday Lunch in one if the new Pods (which are lovely and a great idea). Service was atrocious, especially as the the place was practically empty!! No one came back to ask how our meals were or if we’d like more drinks, had to actually go ask if someone was planning on clearing our plates. My family had brought me a cake but of course no plates where brought for that so we took it home and made our own coffee!!! Isaacs missed out on quite alot of money ruddy!! I will avoid in the future for meals. This is obviously just a Bar not a restaurant.

Great location. Very friendly staff and nice selection of beers and cider. Food is good and reasonably priced. Desserts too tempting!! Lovely rambling building so great nooks and crannies to hide away for lazy afternoon of good conversation, food and drink. If you just need coffee there's a cafe too, bet the cakes tempt you!

The garden heaters were not working on the day of our visit and it had been raining during our 10-15 minute walk there so we were soaked and cold and really looking forward to the heaters. Apart from that, music was good, atmosphere was good, service at the bar was pretty efficient and it's wasn't overly busy so it meant we could find a table easily but we specifically picked Issacs because of the garden heaters so that's why I have marked it down. (This time)

This is a lively and very popular bar in a lovely building in fantastic location on the Waterfront. It can get busy Reasonably priced food as well with dining pods on an upper deck overlooking the marina.

Service is really quick, by friendly, happy waiters/ waitresses. Always a pleasant atmosphere. Customers during the day are of all ages~from young families to old couples and groups.Can't wait to come again.

The chicken was not cooked enough.
