Badly run pub. Plastic glasses due to trouble ,stopped serving at 10:45 with no last orders and didn’t inform customers and toilet door was hanging off. Went there a few years ago and it was fine, not any more and won’t be returning.

Great staff, good prices and selection of drinks but very loud on a Sunday early evening, very loud music, four tv's showing sport and noisy patrons. Not the place for a quiet drink and a chat but certainly a good place for entertainment:)

Classic pub good services just not enough seats

Pleasant bar staff reasonable prices - 3 pints and a soft drink for less than £10

Friendly atmosphere good selection of beers and ciders, even had a friendly dog only reason for the 4 star was the amount of beerflys not just by the bar but where sat, not enough to hinder the experiance but enough to notice it

Decievingly large pub, with a great atmosphere, a nice outdoor seating area, a pretty decent beer prices.. Always worth a visit.

Good location in the centre of town. Although it is an old premises it has had many makeovers and has little character. There is good seating outside, both out front on the square and at the back in a private yard. However, I hesitate to recommend it because it attracts some rather unsavoury characters. On the plus side the beer is very cheap (£2.35 for a pint of Hobgoblin Gold!). I also found the bar staff to be friendly and gave good service.
