Mcdonald's Restaurant in Ipswich

Needed a quick bite to eat for lunch so we thought we would try the mcplant, all in all, not that bad for a vegetarian option but I would still always choose a bean burger over any fake meat one.

I ordered a meal and chose to eat indoors as opposed to the drive thru. The female server in my opinion was mildly rude and seemed frustrated when I asked her to repeat what she had said as her accent(presumably Eastern European) was a little hard to comprehend at times. Both the burger and the fries were luke warm and decided to take then back. The male that received my complaint was very helpful and pleasant and gave me a replacement meal immediately(which was hot). Had it not been for the 1st female I would have rated a minimum of at least 4 stars. Definitely a little room for improvement. The burger by the way('beef & bacon stack')was delicious and would definitely recommend it! 👌

Decided to stop by on the way home as their posted hours said they were still open. We arrived to find that their door was locked and 4 staff including a manager on duty were cleaning up. A food delivery driver was also at the door with us and was knocking on the door and trying to get someone’s attention so he could pick up his order and every member of staff COMPLETELY IGNORED him. We left because we decided that if a location was going to close despite their posted hours saying they were open then they didn’t deserve our business. However what made us most upset was their complete disregard of a man just trying to do his job. Someone had clearly placed an order and they just let him stand outside knocking. Perhaps McDonald’s needs to consider staffing their restaurants with human beings who actually care instead of the ones currently working there?

Very quick service from the drive through, there was a long queue and I almost changed my mind but they were so quick I was impressed, very polite very organized and obviously the team work must of been outstanding to deal with the morning queues as quickly as they did.

Fast food is never the best and most healthy option, but this place served freshly cooked breakfast piping hot and well prevented. 4 stars because of the junk food factor.

Being a transplant from the United States, I really am impressed with the entire crew at this McDonalds location. Unlike some McDonald's, the staff at this location can't do enough for you. My friend and I dine here for lunch often and they know both of us are disabled and they go out of their way to accommodate us every time! The management has to be top notch as employees follow good examples and they are trained to make the customer feel cared about. I can't wait to go back again soon!

Clean restaurant and friendly staff. A bit strange that we had to order at the counter as the ordering tablets did not let us order to eat in, hence my taking away of a star. Everything else was great including the food in the usual McDonalds standard.

We'd gone there around 9 pm after the James Bond movie. We were initially told we couldn't eat in, that they were only doing takeaways, but then someone later said we could eat in, as long as it was from the takeaway packet, there would be no trays. Another staff member said we couldn't order using the self service screens, had to order at the till, but then someone else you could, as long as you picked the takeaway option. Just thought the whole experience wasn't particularly customer friendly. The place was packed with delivery drivers who'd come to pick up orders. So the waiting times were pretty long too... I'm a McDonald's fan, but I'm not going back here.

Took 10 minutes for 2 McFlurrys and when it came it was only half full!

Ordered online, waiting over 2 hours , called restaurant and manager said "your order left 7 minutes ago, it will be there soon", it never arrived, one thing is to be slow and other is to lie to a customer, cant believe this is a MacDonald service, haven't ordered for long time and now no refund, no apology no nothing i will claim when is open again.
