Best fish and chip near me in my opinion, would be 5 stars but the food delivery companies really slow down the queue it was better before

Their gluten free menu on Monday nights is excellent. I had not been able to eat fish and chips for years and years (I'm gluten and lactose intolerant) but when I moved to the area and heard of them, I had to try it. I nearly cried with happiness it was so darn good. Great big portion sizes and curry sauce too! I'm now a regular customer!

We had x3 large portions of chips on different days over the last month and what I keep finding is nearly in every one of the portions I found about 5 of the chunkier chips to be not cooked/fried all the way through I can except the odd one be not on this scale so about 10-15 of the chunkier chips in the individual portions were only half cooked/fried so could not eat them so I thought I would just give you the heads up as never come across this problem before!!!!!

Best fish and chips around this side of Ipswich. Super sized portions and gluten free every Monday.

I work in this area but normally go home at weekends. Because I worked Saturday I stayed up here because I live quite away and glad I did. I had the fish bar recommended and thought I would give it a try. It’s the best I have had and reminds of when I when we would go on holiday and as kids and as a treat would have fish & chips in one of the coastal towns we would visit. In those days it was in news paper but you can’t have it these days but did eat out of the wrapping as we used to. We have a good chippy back home but the fish bar beats that one. Staff were friendly and helpful, a good portion and plenty of salt and vinegar. I will be definitely going to them again next time I have to stay over.
