If you have any standards at all, do not go in here. Very grim. Our table was filfy, our glasses had dried bits of food stuck on. The drinks were flat. Walls and floor dirty, dusty and damaged. The chicken in the photo was all overcooked and half of it my daughter simply couldn't chew. The tray it was presented on had something smeared all underneath it. I would have had more pleasure from chewing on a flip flop than I got from my sirloin steak. The steak knife provided was futile against it. Terrible quality, I've never cooked or been served a steak so bad. Asked for medium/rare but received.... beyond well done. Same for a rump steak order, received beyond well done however it was still edible at least. The beans were cold and the salad was not dressed as described and had brown edges. I guess we got lucky with clean cutlery. The member of staff who served us was lovely. But she was basically alone and run off her feet as there was also a wake being held at the bar (quite the appropriate place for a wake I feel), so I felt sorry for her. She did check if we were okay but we could either tell her everything single thing was wrong or give her a break and simply never return. The worst £60 I have ever spent in my life. The fries, peas and condiments were fine is all I can say. Even a McDonald's would have been far superior. Or even worse, we could have gone to Rios Brazilian bbq for the same cost. Lesson truly learnt.

Steak was burnt, asked for rare and the rest of the food was very Bland. The kids chicken nuggets were the tastiest part and that says it all. Service was fast and friendly cannot fault that one bit.

Had a delicious birthday meal at the Royal George. The waitress was very helpful. All covid regulations in place. Tables were cleaned as customers left. We have already booked a table to go back again.

Good pub grub for a very reasonable price, especially mid-week when they have 2 for 1 offers. Staff are friendly and helpful. 😊

Very expansive menu, very competitive pricing. Great value for money. The burger I had was reasonable but not amazing, didnt come with any sauce in it so quite dry, it was Thursday so was 2 for 1 on burgers and so very cheap but I have had a lot tastier burgers.
