Great pub, nice staff, fantastic atmosphere and vibe.

Friendly down to earth old fashioned pub. Not pretentious. Good variety of drinks. Live bands to suit all tastes. My kind of place.

Surprisingly empty of tables and people, but it was only opening time. Historic location, deserves to begin to thrive again, with food as well as drink I hope one day.

Decent outside area, lovely staff. Good beer.

Friendly staff. Old regulars boycotted the place after new management did their own thing,but are seeing sense and comming back now. As am I.Good variety of entertainment nowadays , not the same old thing all the time.

Very busy pre-football but they did a good job of handling the queues as well as possible. Nice outdoor seating area and the covered area was very handy for the regular rain showers!

I Enjoy music gigs in The Blackhorse, they have changed hands, new management better set up, got a Marquee for outdoor social distancing entertainment bar staff do well despite Covid restrictions,booking table system in place, tables of 6 or 2 👍 can still enjoy main pub not just outside

Good place for a few pints before a football match.Though game days are crowded, it's a lively pub where the Ipswich fans are likely to show their generosity with a pint...or 5.Good service, friendly folks.Good time

Nice place to pop in while the cars on charge! Had live music and friendly old rockers in :)
