The Brook Inn in Ipswich

Lovley pub/restaurant. Has a wide range on the menu and the halloumi bits fpr the starter, was very tasty. Staff where very friendly. Will be coming back in the future.

Only reason it wasn't a 5 star is because of a fairly long wait to order our food yet alone have it cooked. Once we had received our food it was delicious and hot and one meal was adapted from the menu to suit our needs which was very good. Big bonus for us is it's dog friendly in the bar and snug and our dog could sit under the table waiting for titbits. Didn't mind the wait but felt they could have taken our order and warned us of a bit of a delay in cooking the food rather than not take our order.

Excellent service, but let down slightly by the food. Opted for the Sunday roast (the beef was superbly cooked), but would have like to have had the option to have had the vegetables and gravy on the side rather than on the plate all together. The Yorkshire pudding was excellent!

Regular meet up with a group of friends and this time we chose the Brook Inn as our venue. There was a great selection on the menu plus a number of specials, all our choices were delicious. Will definitely be back!

Cannot recommend The Brook Inn enough! Plenty to choose from and ALWAYS delicious food that cater to all dietary requirements. The staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. It is also kept very clean and tidy. Can't recommend highly enough!!

Lovely country pub. Good choice of all the pub classics plus specials board, so there's plenty to choose from. Decent plate fulls at good prices and very pleasant staff on hand as well. Lots of choices for gluten intolerant punters as well. Will definitely be back.

First time here. Nice place. Efficient, friendly, welcoming staff. Good food, reasonably priced and good portions. The place could have been a bit warmer though, as I was quite chilly.

One of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and the roast potatoes were incredible, the additional herbs used really made the difference. Good choice of vegetarian options too. I hope to be back again very soon!
