Nice friendly staff and a good bar menu.

Nice enough pub for a good drink. There’s a lot of choice available at decent enough prices and the staff were friendly and quick at serving. There’s a lot of large screens throughout making it an ideal spot to catch up on the sport plus there’s lots of sitting and standing options as you do. I’d certainly return if I was nearby!

Thanks to Ben and all the staff for the excellent service, carrying a beer over for me when I am not doing so well, may seem easy but for me sometimes it is not. And for the excellent Xmas Dinner food and service was excellent even though the pub was packed.

Never been in this pub in all the years I've been in Ipswich, and that's over 55 years. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and good value for money. Excellent choice including the breakfast menu. Very good selection if beers, ciders, lagers and exceptional range of spirits. Definitely going to be returning.

I have been twice, once when they wouldn't let me in because they thought I was underage and they thought I had a fake ID... Neither were true. The next time, they had barely any food options available, most were out of stock. Vegan burger without a vegan bun. What is the point of that?

Food was excellent ( you could tell the cooking oil was fresh) Comfortable place. Staff ( plenty of) were friendly and efficient!

Great spot to grab a pint and food. Food was delicious. The small fish n chips is enormous so be careful and hungry!
