The Station Hotel Pub & Restaurant in Ipswich

Just dropped in for Refreshment whilst awaiting for a Train. Friendly chap appeared ,held door open and assisted me with luggage. Quickly served by a Cheerful Barlady who also assisted by preparing a cooling drink to take away for my journey.Good selection of Ales, Menu looked interesting.Warm welcoming. Looking forward to returning.

I stayed a few nights for work in a double ensuite, it was clean but needed updating. The room was fine as a place to sleep but needed some repair. The pub downstairs was nice and the staff were friendly.

Nice big pub opposite the railway station, outdoor seating area overlooking the river.

Brilliant service, reasonably priced food. The bar lady was so good, was on her own doing the whole bar and food but smashed it 14/5/22

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. TV, decent shower in en suite and tea and coffee provided. Certainly convenient for the station.Very tired though, really needs some new paint and carpets! Also disappointing not to have breakfast on site.

Booked 5 rooms here…. DONT DO IT- room 1 had a crack in the broken window leaving the room at 2°- room 2-4 had holes in the walls, a terrible attempt at cleaning and generally just filthy- room 5 we couldn’t even access because the reception went home early before checking everyone in and we had to go somewhere elseThe team called it “the murder hotel”And if you’re up for shared toilets, this really might be the hotel for you (are hotels even allowed to use a shared toilet model anymore?!)All the photos in their profile are a lie. Real photos added. It won’t allow video but those are even worseMoved all occupants out of the rooms. Terrible terrible experience

I stayed here last week for the football, but, unfortunately I got locked out as The Station Hotel 🏨 shuts at 3:00pm of a match day . . . I managed to get fully reimbursed & thank the lovely staff et al for kindly looking after my belongings whilst I stayed elsewhere.The food is top notch although the Peroni is over 6 notes a pint (London prices!!) but all in all 9 out of 10 man 😃🛶💃🏻🕺🏻⚓🛥💩❤

The room is average but clean and the window doesn't shut properly, it's cold in the room. I wanted to leave when I was ready at 7:00am but you can't leave early as the staff is not here. I could hear traffic during the night.
