Table reserved for 7 cannot fault the food and service, one meal was upgraded with another steak which was missed off the order however this was dealt with quickly and didn’t cause a big issue.

We tried this place on two separate occasions just to give it the benefit of the doubt. on our first visit, my husband had a full English breakfast with a completely rock hard dehydrated slice of black pudding, and I had the breakfast waffles with a hair baked in.I sent it back and just got a basic breakfast..on our last and final visit we ordered the Camembert which came rock hard. sent it back to get the cheese melted but the roll was so rock hard we couldn't eat it.We have finally given up I don't think anyone in the kitchen has any training what's so ever!

Loved it! Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff, good food, lovely Christmas decorations. Will definitely go back.

Really positive experience. Good food. Medium Rare steak was actually cooked ... Medium Rare. Which many other places seem to cook ( under done ) prices were very competitive. And the meal size were good portions.Staff were helpful and polite.Overall a very good meal. X

As they are part of the Greene King chain the menus are all the same providing variety, plus there are different meal deals available for each day of the week providing real value for your money. The pub itself is spacious with ample parking and a play area for the kids

This place is absolutely disgusting! Filthy toilets! Got sat at a table with all rubbish underneath it! Looked to the side of us and there’s dirty plates that have been there the whole. Night waitress walking past over 10 times not even acknowledging them. Our plates took forever to be collected. Sanitizer squirtes you in the eye told waitress and she just laughed. Also glasses stunk of stale milk . The best bit was the sign in the toilets stating they are cleaned regularly clearly a lie. I’ve now been here 3 times and it’s been filthy the whole time so they can’t blame it on one night it’s like this all the time!! Also tables full of marks where kids have been colouring on them.

Nice meal, just a shame they ran out of the curry and beef roast. Fish and chips were a good portion as well as the bacon cheeseburger and gammon. There was quite a big delay in cleaning tables and when they first went over to a table they removed the plates but not the glasses and the drinks left over. Overall a nice place to eat at as the deals for the certain days are good, just a shame they didn't have some of the best parts of the menu for the deal today.Easy enough just to walk in if there are not too many people but if there is a big group it is better to book as two of the big tables were not cleared. Would recommend to families as it is a nice atmosphere with good prices.

Excellent hungry horse pub/restaurant. Recommended. Good value and pleasant staff

The waiting times were terrible considering they were quiet. The food came and it was undercooked, we asked for our food to be changed and the next time the food came out it was burnt. Also the fudge cake we had was over microwaved meaning it would have made a better car cleaning sponge than it would have an edible cake. Never returning again, especially as the manager didn’t even want to talk to us about it. Can’t believe a pub like this exists, good luck eating here, that’s all I can say

Beer cold and delicious.... service a bit haphazard.... seemed short staffed. Lots of surface cleaning being done. Food was okay... very nice gammon but disappointing chips. But for a fiver I'm not complaining. Would definitely return
