China Rose in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Our favourite local and go to place ALWAYS!Consistently great food, fab staff and Sparky (our rescue doggy) gets treated like royalty! What more could you want?Lovely garden to while away a summers afternoon away from the masses at the coast!

Went for a country drive for a bit of fresh air looking for a country pub to have a drink in and came across this Gem, nice atmosphere, great service, Great food and drink and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back!

Eclectic, delicious and accommodating.The pub is unique. It’s a mix of lots of things but felt so friendly and welcoming and we loved it.The food was delicious. Venison bourginon was fab and the smoked salmon risotto was different again.We turned up as walk-ins and nothing was too much trouble. We were served by a friendly caring team and made to feel special during our short visit. Will likely return.

Found this delightful little pub at lunchtime.I always go for pubs that have full carparks.Good beer nice open sandwiches, friendly staff.

I don’t think I could have enjoyed my dinner more. Had the Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese for starter and the Steak Burger for mains. The entree was superb, great portion, well presented and cooked to perfection. Main course was equally exquisite. The staff are extremely friendly, engaging and know when to check in though out the meal. The eclectic interior, although not over the top, feels homely and inviting.

Went for a pre Christmas lunch with my mum, very friendly and helpful staff who put up with all our gluten and vegetarian nonsense with good humour. Food was lovely and tasty as piping hot which is novel in lots of places. Very good hand cut chips too. Never been here before but will go again and recommended to family.

Not been here for several years however as they were doing a Lunch Special, we decided to pop along.We were not disappointed.I had the Venison dish and my partner the Smoked Salmon Risotto. Both were absolutely delicious.The weather was fine and we sat outside.Great quality food.Great service.Very reasonable pricing.We will be returning in the not too distant future.Would love to see their amazing BBQ in use.Took advantage of walking round the Village of Harpley after and up to the Church.Lovely place.

This place is honestly one of the best I've visited. It's a lovely little comfy country pub with nice decor and a welcoming warm fireplace.There's a good selection of food and drink and the Chef and wait staff are so amazingly helpful and accommodating, we had some allergies in our party of 7 and they prepared a dish fresh and off menu to accommodate the dietary requirements.I couldn't have felt more comfortable and welcome and highly recommend anyone to visit

This pub is full of charm and im astounded by the quality. I had ham egg and chips and it was the best I've ever had! Meal was amazing!They do buy one get one free meals, exchange your extras from the garden for free beer and happy hours during the week. I WISH this was my local and I can see why it won a pub of the year award!Hats of to the owners as The Rose and Crown is definitely worth a trip to!

A great find in Harpley Village, Norfolk. We didn't expect to see such a great menu and it was difficult to chose. I settled on belly pork. My husband had rack of lamb, cooked pink, with a side order of onion rings, proper onion rings! Friendly staff, great pub and garden.
