Downham Garden Store in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Father's day lunch. Table was pre booked but our table had not been reserved. Luckily a table was free. Very long wait for service but staff were very helpful. Two of our four meals were disappointing, very fatty lamb, overcooked soggy veg! burnt parsnipsand Yorkshire solid and charred. Brussels missing on one plate. Its a good job we were with good company. Nice garden nursery though!

Good selection of plants and garden equipment. Good food and very polite service for Sunday lunch. The girls in the restaurant are very polite and courteous.

Great selection of plants and gardening products in general, I was looking for standard roses but thought expensive at £49:99 they didnt look like £49:99 quality with thier wonky steam/trunk, but this didnt stop me buying some other plants. I would point out there is another garden center 5mins up the road called Baytree that's worth a look.

Really good lunch in the restaurant today. Salmon with couscous etc, and beef lasagne.We usually eat there when in the neighbourhood and are never disappointed.

Called in for some bedding plants... Place wasn't too busy... Huge choice of plants at fair prices... Its easy to get carried away in there buying too much to carry... there are trollies and baskets of course!!Inside the garden centre is a nice looking coffee shop.. but I didn't have time to sample. I was quickly served at the tills and was even offered cardboard boxes for my purchases to keep them upright and safe in the car.

Nice garden centre friendly staff and lots of bits and pieces

Been here a couple of times and always have a decent variety of plants in stock. Some plants are pricey when compared to Diddlington Nursery, but it comes down to what you want at the time and if you are willing to pay the difference for what you can get.

Big garden centre. Lots of plants, fair amount of bedding. Short in some areas. Big shop inside very varied things available. Lots house plants. Restaurant, toilets. Disabled friendly. Some Covid safety practice. Staff friendly. Petrol station & another restaurant next door

First time visiting the Gardeners Rest restaurant yesterday and will definitely be going again. Food arrived promptly, was well presented and very tasty. Compliments to the chef ! Staff were helpful, it was fairly busy but I was seated quickly, given time to look at the menu, then able to order. An all over good experience.

A thoroughly enjoyable breakfast had by all the family today, we could not fault. We all had the hearty breakfast which was well portioned for the adults, although in hindsight the standard breakfast may of been a better choice for those with a smaller appetite. Will go again.
