Farmers Arms Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk
Where is Farmers Arms Restaurant?
🏠South Wootton, King's Lynn PE30 3HQ
"At one of West Norfolk’s highest points and on the outskirts of King's Lynn, you will find The Farmer’s Inn & Restaurant, a charming country-style pub with a warm welcome and excellent food and drink. These buildings were once at the heart of an impressive working farm. Now, alongside the original farmhouse, the stables and grain stores have been restored to house this delightful pub and restaurant. The history of the stable block has not been lost with exposed beams and numerous local prints and antiquities adorning the walls. The design is such that nooks and crannies provide delightfully secluded dining booths whilst the restaurant area offers more open plan seating."

Had dinner two nights consecutively as was staying in the adjoining hotel.Good, hearty pub food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.Would like to give a soecial shout out to Maddy who worked her socks off and was an absolute sweetheart!! She's a little gem and they would do well to hold on to her - she's 10/10 and made our evenings!!

Absolutely fantastic. I came here with my family and inlaws on Sunday. I could not fault the service or the taste of the food. The prices are very good the service was 2nd to none. Being an ex chef I'm a stickler for flavour and portion sizes and wow I'm stunned at how good it was. The only down sides for me where that our table was situated directly next to the carvery so alot of people looking over your shoulder when u eat and not much room due to the amount of people CROWDING around our table. And there could be abit more of a variety ie mashed potatoes, normal peas (especially for the kids) and sausages which I would have happily paid extra for. Apart from these tiny things I was truly amazed at this little gem of a restaurant. The car park is very big with alot of availability and the interior decor was so beautiful. Exactly what you would expect from a traditional norfolk barn turned restaurant. Shame there was no manager around when I asked to speak to one as I was only looking to praise the young lady that served us she was amazing but I did get to make her aware of how fantastic she was when we left. We'll done

Only stopped in to meet friends for a pint as it is quite a drive for me, but the pub is welcoming with a friendly atmosphere and a large range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.Next time I will be tempted to have something to eat because the dining room was busy and I'm told the food is good.

Try investing in some safer cup options for children don't think milk coming in a ½ pint glass for a 2 year old is very safe to be honest. Most ended up on the floor anyway from how high it was filled. When ordered did ask for a plastic cup was told the glasses were all they had.

Won't be going back and we are local. .they carnt seem to cope with big order as also very long wit in 2020 for a table of 7. So be sure before you book

Can't see how you could rate this place more than one star. Staff looked grumpy. Chairs and tables were wobbly . Chips were not cooked . Manager tried to get out of excepting 50% off voucher. Food overall not good for the price.

What a disappointment. We came here after a busy day out with kids- starving!Butcher’s Burgers was our choice; one beef one chicken plus two kids meals. Both burgers came super dry with no sauces, very flat piece of tomato and super tired lettuce on verge of dying. Definitely could get better burger in chain fast food but for 1/4 of a price. Chips were dried inside and not even hot. It’s quite dark in here so atmosphere is a bit depressing; add to it wobbly chairs and sticky tables. When asked for bill no one actually came to us for ages so I had to go and pay. Also mistake on the bill that was higher than Gordon Ramsey pizza place in London! Definitely not be coming back! Left super dry and flavour free taste in my mouth.

Awful and will not return, very disappointed after reading other reviews. Popped in for dinner after a day at Hunstanton. My Pepsi was end of the pump and had to ask for it to be replaced although the young waiter had already said it looked a lot lighter in colour than my husbands. We both ordered the roast beef dinner, when it came the roast potatoes (deep fat fried, as agreed by the waiter when I suggested it) were rock hard and Well and truly over cooked, new ones brought out after I complained, the Yorkshire pudding was cold and the veg (carrots, green beans and cauliflower) was over cooked, only the carrots had any flavour left in them. We didn't order pudding but went up to pay, the young lady on the till took payment and as card was being authorised asked if everything was ok with our food, I sad no and that we wouldn't be back and as I was explaining she really didn't seem to be bothered. She did say "sorry about that" and my reply was "it is what it is" no return trip from us.

This is a great pub with good food. There is also a table service restaurant option. It is kind of attached to the Best Western hotel, so you can charge meals and drinks to your hotel room. There is a function room for larger events. It is busy at the weekends and between 6 and 8 most evenings. The staff are friendly and efficient.
