Very nice country pub, with good food and a nice supply of guest beers. A small but nice beer garden was a great place to stop by and have some lunch. Food was good with a good selection of pub staples and sandwiches at lunchtime too. Would happily return.

Lovely meal in restaurant - tasty, large portions. Great garden to sit out with dogs.

Lovely pub, excellent quality meat and vegetables, lovely staff, dog friendly with a jar of dog biscuits on the bar. However, both the pork and turkey roasts were tasteless as was the gravy. The roast potatoes too big, hence not cooked sufficiently on the inside, had they been par boiled first? . Could pick up a hint of garlic on my pork roast? Who needs garlic on a wonderful piece of pork roasted in its own juices. We did not bring this to the server's attention as felt it was the preparation and not the quality of food that was at fault in our opinion. The roast when it was presented to the table , looked amazing. A hearty plateful, perhaps the chef would consider making a traditional gravy wirh the meat juices and keep the gravy served on our dinner solely for those with gluton allergies, vegan and vegetarians. Not a one pot fits all.

This a lovely pub situated in a very pretty village. The bar has a great range of real ales. There is an ever changing dining menu, all of which sound delicious. I had a starter of chicken goujons with a festive mayonnaise dip. For my main course I had the the beef and ale pie, mange tout and new potatoes. The pie had beautiful rich gravy and a light shortcrust pastry top. The bar staff were very pleasant and polite. I can't fault the place. I will certainly be visiting here again!

Fantastic village pub, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent every time we visited with a great selection. Real ales were different most night which went down very well. We visited 5 nights out of 7. Highly recommended.
